I met a person who does interior work and he will repair our lanai area and then some. He will also renovate the guest bathroom and the flooring that we used is a no no because it isn’t waterproofed. So, after he left I did some looking online to get an idea of price and found some ideas that I will need to see in person. Everything is at Lowes and the best part, the price is right. Will take a ride either Saturday or Sunday.

I did manage to find some time to visit our Farmer’s Market. I found some wonderful food items for hubby. One was a fruit bowl that was enough for four people. The fruit included strawberries, pineapple, honeydew, blueberries, cantaloupe, red and green grapes. It was awesome to look at. But my allergy to strawberries prohibited me from trying it. I also purchased chicken salad, my favorite. I will probably stuff an orange pepper with the chicken salad and include native tomatoes. I forgot to mention that this market is owned by the Amish and there are no preservatives in their food items. Most of their deli items are homemade. Best part, very little salt, but they do get you on the sugar, so I’m very careful on that one. There was a lady wearing an apron that reminded me of the Dragon Fruit. They were the same colors of pink and green with some yellow thrown in. She was cooking up a storm. Fresh tilapia in a sauce to beat the band. She was handing out samples. I need to get that recipe. I also bought two mini pies (blueberry and Dutch apple). They had fresh salmon on sale and they were not farm fed. Also pinwheel salmon stuffed with sour cream and fresh dill. I absolutely forgot that that is one of my favorite things to do with salmon. I have to admit that this was better than mine. I only wanted to shop for an hour , but ended up being there for t wo. Ran home and put some items in the frig and freezer. Made a care package for hubby and brought an Italian grinder for his roommate. I arrived at the rehab after 6pm and stayed over two hours watching those two enjoy their packages. I was exhausted when I returned home and just woke up.

I will see you in Trivia tonight. It’s early Friday morning. However, not sure if I will be back in time to start it. There are no set rules to leave the rehab. I probably could have slept in the chair and no one would have noticed (LOL). Oh yes, we are having problems getting an Urology appointment. I spoke to the head nurse last week and he had left messages on our first choice with no response. He could not believe that the office may have been closed. But last week some of the kids had a winter break for a week and many parents do make plans . I surmise that many in the health field use that week for a mini awaycation. But yesterday I tried. No answer machine, but the phone kept ringing incessantly. I gave up. This is not what is done in New England. I will leave it to the rehab to find someone.

Thank you for the birthday wishes for my niece. I am going to just stop everything
right now. I have never done the yard work in a long wool coat in the rain and cold.

Good afternoon in Oz. Happy birthday to your niece🎂🎈 and congrats on the new addition to your family.👶 Nice to hear good news.

It must be raining everywhere but Florida. We have rain, you have rain, Taci and my sis have rain. It is hanging around here for the next couple days.

Can’t even imagine you cleaning up tree debris in a winter coat.😮 We have had some windy days and my husband needs to clean up some branches/twigs. Like I said before, next house I want one bush.
