Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Sheba,
Congratulations on your nieces HS graduation! How exciting!
Your medical sounds very nice. We have too much population in this State.
I can go to them for Covid testing though.
We were overcast today and expect to be for the rest of the week. Starting to miss some sunshine but I know it will be here soon enough.
My AL Bars arrived today. Yay. -
I so enjoyed reading your post as I was still posting. I am glad you got some rain.
We will have rain tomorrow here in OZ.I am not young young l am proud of my age and I am in good health. Xango you
are not old either. I think you are a great Aunt. 😘🌹 I mean that.I love how you treat your family all the talk and sharing that is how it is in my family.
I do have a large family just not in Kansas.I bet that bunny will be back. I buy baby carrots I use in our salads to feed my bunny.
Tonight there is a quarter moon out and it is high take a look if you have time.
I wanted to say I use mask pre-covid for the flu. I ended up in ER and it’s an experience I never want to go through again.
I mask during the flu season. People look at me funny I could give a rat’s arse about their looks keep your germs to yourself.😎 -
Let’s enjoy a toast to our family. I hope you have a great time tomorrow with your mom
and sister. ✨😘We are a large Catholic Family and there will be a huge party for my niece I think my brother
and his wife did a great job. Niece has a fully paid tuition to a University. I am very proud of
her. ✨✨If I did not have covid-19 I would have made it to Colorado. No worries we still summer. 😎

Hello, the rain visit us this late afternoon again. I will take all the rain that comes this way. The bunny came again, sitting in the same spot near the glass patio door looking right inside. I threw a small piece of bread over to him, but he ran towards the neighbor’s fence and this time didn’t eat it.
Family in Brazil are well, my cousin sent pictures of the bread she baked together. We talk everyday, sending pictures of what we cook, bake, make etc. For Christmas I ordered her through Amazon several items. Including a stand mixer, blender, baking items from yeast/flour to pans, spatulas, etc. Now that the weather is much cooler there, some days cold, she can bake. Her house doesn’t have air-conditioning nor heat. You must be young to have a niece who is 17, I have grand nieces that age and a bit older☺️😄😀. One who lives here her birthday is one day before mine, she on her second year of high school. And her sister finished her first year of college.
I am glad you are feeling better, it may take just a little longer for your system to be rid of the infection. Soon everything will be gone, and yes, a mask is still needed. I certainly wear one when I go out and about. I don’t care that many a times we are the only ones wearing mask like in the supermarket and other places.
I was wearing masks ways before Covid-19, in Jacksonville or any other Navy clinic you walk in there are areas where you can get a mask. They had that before Covid-19 existed, during seasonal flu people would take one and wear in case someone would have the regular flu. So I would take one, two and wear it to the market, shopping mall etc. When the news would say a specific area had a certain percentage of flu.
I would make sure I didn’t touch my face and kept my hands clean with wipes.
Oh yeah I am like that 😄😄
Take care Sheba, enjoy your walks with Poppy and those bike rides too.⚘️🌺🌺🌺🌺⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️ -
There Are Worse Things I Could Do
Song by Stockard Channing 😎😘✨There are worse things I could do
Than go with a boy or two
Even though the neighborhood
Thinks I’m trashy and no good
I suppose it could be true
But there are worse things I could do
I could flirt with all the guys
Smile at them and bat my eyes
Press against them when we dance
Make them think they stand a chance
Then refuse to see it through
That’s a thing I’d never do
I could stay home every night
Wait around for Mr. Right
Take cold showers every day
And throw my life away
On a dream that won’t come true
I could hurt someone like me
Out of spite or jealousy
I don’t steal and I don’t lie
But I can feel and I can cry
A fact I’ll bet you never knew
But to cry in front of you
That’s the worst thing I could do -
Frankie Valli Lyrics
“Grease”I solve my problems and I see the light
We got a lovin’ thing, we gotta feed it right
There ain’t no danger we can go too far
We start believing now that we can be who we are
Grease is the wordThey think our love is just a growing pain
Why don’t they understand, it’s just a crying shame
Their lips are lying, only real is real
We stop the fight right now, we got to be what we feel
Grease is the word(Grease is the word, is the word that you heard)
It’s got a groove, it’s got a meaning
Grease is the time, is the place, is the motion
Grease is the way we are feelingWe take the pressure and we throw away
Conventionality belongs to yesterday
There is a chance that we can make it so far
We start believing now that we can be who we are
Grease is the word(Grease is the word, is the word that you heard)
It’s got a groove, it’s got a meaning
Grease is the time, is the place, is the motion
Now, grease is the way we are feelingThis is a life of illusion
Wrapped up in trouble
Laced with confusion
What are we doing here?We take the pressure and we throw away
Conventionality belongs to yesterday
There is a chance that we can make it so far
We start believing now that we can be who we are (be who we are)
Grease is the word(Grease is the word, is the word that you heard)
It’s got a groove, it’s got a meaning
Grease is the time, is the place, is the motion
Now, grease is the way we are feeling(Grease is the word, is the word that you heard)
It’s got a groove, it’s got a meaning
Grease is the time, is the place, is the motion
Now, grease is the way we are feelingGrease is the word
Is the word… -
We Go Together
Song by John Travolta and Olivia Newton-JohnWe go together
Like rama lama lama ka dinga da dinga dong
Remembered forever
As shoo-bop sha wadda wadda yippity boom de boom
Chang chang changitty chang sha-bop
That’s the way it should be
Wah-oooh, yeah!
We’re one of a kind
Like dip da-dip da-dip doo-wop da doo-bee doo
Our names are signed
Boogedy boogedy boogedy boogedy
Shooby doo-wop she-bop
Chang chang changitty chang sha-bop
We’ll always be like one, wa-wa-wa-one
When we go out at night
And stars are shinin’ bright
Up in the skies above
Or at the high school dance
Where you can find romance
Maybe it might be love
Rama lama lama ka dinga da dinga dong
Shoo-bop sha wadda wadda yippity boom de boom
Chang chang changitty chang sha-bop
Dip da-dip da-dip doo-wop da doo-bee doo
Boogedy boogedy boogedy boogedy
Shoo-be doo-wop she-bop
Sha-na-na-na-na-na-na-na yippity dip de doom
Rama lama lama ka dinga da dinga dong
Shoo-bop sha wadda wadda yippity boom de boom
Chang chang changitty chang sha-bop
Dip da-dip da-dip doo-wop da doo-bee doo
Boogedy boogedy boogedy boogedy
Shoo-be doo-wop she-bop
Sha-na-na-na-na-na-na-na yippity dip de doom
Wop ba-ba lu-mop and wop bam boom!
We’re for each other
Like a wop ba-ba lu-bop and wop bam boom
Just like my brother is
Sha-na-na-na-na-na-na-na yippity dip de doom
Chang chang chanitty chang sha-bop
We’ll always be together
Wha oooh, yeah!
We’ll always be together
We’ll always be together
We’ll always be together
We’ll always be together
We’ll always be together
We’ll always be together
We’ll always be together
We’ll always be together
We’ll always be together
We’ll always be together -
To Sir With Love
Song by LuluThose schoolgirl days
Of telling tales and biting nails are gone
But in my mind
I know they will still live on and on
But how do you thank someone
Who has taken you from crayons to perfume?
It isn’t easy, but I’ll try
If you wanted the sky
I would write across the sky in letters
That would soar a thousand feet high
“To sir, with love”
The time has come
For closing books and long last looks must end
And as I leave
I know that I am leaving my best friend
A friend who taught me right from wrong
And weak from strong
That’s a lot to learn
What, what can I give you in return?
If you wanted the moon
I would try to make a start
But I would rather you let me give my heart
“To sir, with love” -
To my beautiful niece congrats on graduating tonight and onward to College. 😘😘✨

Congrats to Denver, I see they are in the finals.🏀👍 I know you and the family are thrilled. On top of that is your niece’s graduation. I have a great niece in Georgia who graduates and has a party this weekend. She got a full scholarship to UGA.
Going to lunch Thursday with mom and sis while their car gets inspected. Another good Chinese place next door to the car dealership.🥡🥢 That will end up being lunch and dinner – so much food. Making a tuna casserole for dinner today. Hubs went to Sam’s this morning so right now I have tons of everything. Trying to decide if I want to have a small cookout this weekend.🍔🌭
You and Poppy enjoy your spring evening.🤗💖

Having a Breakdown
Having a breakdown is often the catharsis that is needed to keep our emotional life in balance.
Most of us have had the experience of holding back our emotions for such a long period of time that when they finally come out, we have something resembling a breakdown. For a certain period of time, the overwhelming flood of feelings coursing through our bodies consumes us, and we stop functioning. Often, these outbursts take us by surprise, welling up within us as we drive to or from work, watch a movie, or engage in some otherwise mundane task. We may feel like we do not know what triggered us, or if we do know, it does not make sense of our overpowering emotional response. This is because we are releasing feelings that have accumulated over a long period of time, and whatever inspired the release was just a catalyst for a much larger, much needed catharsis.
When we find ourselves in the midst of such an experience, it is important that we allow it to happen, rather than fight it or try to shut down. Wherever we are, we can try to find a private, safe place in which to let our feelings out. If we can not access such a place immediately, we can promise to set aside some time for ourselves at our earliest possible convenience, perhaps taking a day off work. The important thing is that we need to give our emotional system some much-needed attention. It is essential that we allow ourselves to release the pent-up emotions inside ourselves so that they do not create imbalances in our bodies and minds.
When you are feeling better, make a plan to find a way to process your emotions more regularly. You can do this by employing a therapist or making a regular date to talk to a trusted friend. Journaling can also be a great way to acknowledge and release your emotions, as can certain forms of meditation. Making room in your life for tending your emotions on a regular basis will keep you healthy, balanced, and ready for life. AMEN! ✨🌹
