Conversation – 18
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Good afternoon, wow, what a day I’ve had. Never stopped running, had a few extra, not planned places to go and I am down for the count.☹ Pancakes, eggs and/or bacon for dinner, can’t handle anything harder.🥞🍳🥓
Glad your mom is doing okay. Having a large family makes this seem like it happens too often.😪🙏
I hope tomorrow is calm, need to catch up on some things at home. I just may fall asleep during the game tonight, especially if it’s boring.😴 Hugs and kisses back to you and Poppy.🤗🥰💖

Argument
The emotional trigger that begins an argument may have little to do with your present situation, but has dug up a wound.
When we find ourselves in an argument, we may feel like we are losing control of emotions that have taken on lives of their own. When we can become aware that this is happening, taking a deep breath can help us step back from the situation. Once we can separate ourselves from the heat of the moment, we may find that the emotional trigger that began the argument has little to do with the present situation, but may have brought up feelings related to something else entirely. Looking honestly at what caused our reaction allows us to consciously respond more appropriately to the situation and make the best choices.
We can make an agreement with our partners and those closest to us that asking questions can help all of us discover the source of the argument. The shared awareness can result in finding simple solutions to something physical, like low blood sugar or even a hormonal surge. Maybe we are taking ourselves too seriously, and we can just laugh and watch the tension dissolve. We could also discover that perhaps we are addicted to the excitement that drama brings and the chemicals that our body creates when we are angry. But there may be a deeper issue that requires discussion, understanding, and patience. The more we allow ourselves to step back and examine our reasons for arguing, the easier it becomes to allow real feelings to surface and guide us toward solutions that improve our lives.
When we can be clear about our feelings and intentions and communicate them clearly, we have a far better chance of getting what we want than if we lose control or allow our subconscious minds to manipulate the situation. We might take our frustrations out on the people closest to us because we feel safe and comfortable with them, but misplaced anger can cause more harm than good. Arguing for what we truly believe can empower us and help us to direct our passions toward greater life experiences. Truly knowing our reasons for arguing enables us to grow emotionally in ways that will affect our whole being. AMEN! ✨✨

I was with hubby for a couple of hours and all he did was sleep. Guess his tummy was full. He awoke a few times and shared some laughs then fell back to sleep. His back was giving him tons of pain, so when the nurse came with the nighttime meds I mentioned it to her. She included something for the backpain and after taking the meds fell back to sleep. Tomorrow he will be a different person. I suspect the backpain has something to do with either his falling out of bed or could be a weather change that is expected towards the end of the week. Our temps will cool during the day and evening and will last awhile. I left hubby around 7:30 pm and I was home within 15 minutes. I have a total of 14 lights and 1 stop sign going one way. The return consists of 12 lights and one stop sign. The trip in both directions is not more than 5 miles. Yes, I did purchase an anniversary gift for hubby. I purchased a 5 cd Frank Sinatra collection which included his many shows in Las Vegas. There is even a DVD. The only problem was I took the wrong package. We opened what I thought was Frank Sinatra and what was in the package was a new mouse for this computer. We both laughed at the oversight. I did manage to bring the correct one with me tonight. Only he was too sleepy to enjoy it.
Hubby will have an appointment with an urologist at my favorite Medical Facility. I had pages and pages of forms to complete and once the medical people receive it, an appointment will be given. I will be informed of the date and time. Not sure if I will be taking him or the rehab. I just didn’t want to be involved with the hospital that caused our viruses. This will be a good start, or at least, I hope so. When we are able to head North, I will see about an appointment either in Baltimore or Boston. I realize that Florida is not known for it’s finest hospitals or doctors, but we need to start somewhere. Again, I will keep you posted. Also, you should also know that hubby is back using a catheter. Though he gets the urge to go, it takes forever. At least we know he will come off of this at some point.
Sheba, thank you so much for our anniversary shout out. It’s now 52 years and it seems like yesterday that I walked down that long aisle. I will bring our Kindle with me tomorrow to show him the many greetings. And you managed to show my favorite colored roses. Of course the cakes were looking good enough to partake. Best part, no added calories. So, we can all enjoy a large piece without a worry. So, everyone on this thread, and for those who just read, please take a piece or more for yourselves. If you don’t, Sheba may be disappointed, since she was in the kitchen for two days baking up a storm.
As I pulled out of the parking spot at the rehab, I happened to glance up to the sky and saw the largest moon ever. It was really beautiful and it lighted the street in a good way. Since I headed West, the moon could not follow my direct route, nor did I see it again as I approached our home. It was in the East, and I was going West for a couple of miles and then South for the route home. I surmise it will light up the MB and that will be a good thing. Take care Sheba. Enjoy the moonlight tonight with hubby and poppy. Pleasant dreams to you.

Good day in Florida and I hope you are enjoying your beautiful weather. ✨🌹
We are in the 40’s and it will soon start raining here in OZ. I am fine with that. 😎
Did you have any adventures last night. The moon was awesome last night from my
vantage view. I slept really well the moon had a ring of color around it last night.
My sister in Colorado lives in a Condo and she is high up she gets a bullseye view
of the moon that comes through her windows. My sister sits in her chair and just
take it all in. ✨💕Be careful if you are having visits from bobcats. What’s for dinner today?
I hope the family in Brazil is having a wonderful day. ✨😎 -
