Conversation – 18
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Thanks for hosting Trivia. I really expected to show, but other things took precedence. I did write a note and if you get a chance, or see this one, go to my area for the kind of day I had. Right now I do not think I am ready for the long drive North. Awaycation is definitely needed.

After sending the above note I went to the other Lowes which is near the Interstate. I should have gone there first. They had the most beautiful vinyl flooring that will definitely match with the one throughout our home. I also purchased a vanity. They did not have a linen closet in stock and told me to order one online and have it either sent to me directly or to the store. I am not too thrilled with the vanity, but I also need one for the Cape house and therefore went for something altogether different for Florida. It will do. Just does not give me much room for storage underneath. This particular Lowes is in a great shopping area with quite a few restaurants. When I wrote the first note I was looking at the menu for the Rice Bowl. It’s Japanese cuisine and the food is mainly grilled. They give you the sauce separately. I ordered the Osaka Deluxe for both of us. It included rice (choice of white or brown), shrimp, chicken and beef along with carrots and broccoli. Sauce was on the side. It also comes with a salad bowl of mixed greens. Again, homemade dressing was on the side. Plasticware and chopsticks were included along with napkins. Hubby didn’t eat breakfast or lunch. He did not eat much of the take out, but enjoyed some fruit which I brought. I may reheat the dinner and bring it with me, though I do need to stop at Costco to gas up. Then again, their rotisserie chicken is good, so may purchase that and let him nibble on a leg or the wings. Since I cleaned the freezer bags I may bring one to keep the food from spoiling.
I know hubby is hungry, but the pain in his lower back and his kneek keep him from getting into a comfortable position. He needs to walk around and no one is helping him to do so. I will be contacting the Administration on Monday to get things going for a return home. I’ve been stalling in hopes of an urologist appointment, but fear they are stalling because they want a full house of patients. It is also getting to be expensive since the insurance is only covering the medication. The nursing staff on the weekends also do not care. I buzzed for help in getting hubby into a sitting position. I also mentioned that he is in tons of pain. Do you think they moved him without him yelling and screaming??? Funny, you would think they would bring a compression sock along with a cold ice pack to relieve the pressure and the swelling. I am absolutely livid.
Sorry I missed Trivia. I will post something in there tonight or tomorrow morning (oops, just looked at the clock—IT’S SATURDAY ALREADY). I wonder how I can eggs warmed for hubby. Usually not much traffic on the weekends. But I do have to contend with 12 lights and one stop sign which makes the trip longer than it should be. Hmm……wonder if he would like bagel lox, onion and cream cheese……..(LOL). On that note, I think I will go to bed. It’s been a long, hard day. Oh, on the way home the sky was magnificent. Purple and pinks. It may rain over the weekend. Don’ t hold your breath……..

🌷🌷🌷🌷🌹🌹🌹So Spring has arrived! YEAH! So glad gad for you.
We are under a burn ban here in Polk County. Along drought and no sign of ending anytime soon.
I watered to front not long ago, and it’s dry again. We had the wind blowing all day.The Ciabatta bread came out so good, not difficult to make just a little time consuming.
I will place two recipes on here from YouTube. They have different ways of making it.Saw a large and very long black snake in the backyard today. Stayed away from it😬.😀😆
Wishing you, your hubby and Poppy have a great weekend 🚵♀️ 🚴♂️

Hi in Oz. Rain all day today and high winds and storms tomorrow, lovely!🌪⛈ Will be watching the trees all day long.😣 Glad you have warm temps, we may hit upper 70s next week.
Didn’t do much on mom Friday. She’s not a fan of running around in the rain so I stopped on my way over at the supermarket to get her a few things. She has an all day affair tomorrow, lunch, show and dinner with her neighbors/association. Hope the electricity stays on.😮
Talk about a wonderful husband. I started the bathroom painting yesterday cutting in all the edges and around the lights, mirrors, etc. I told him I hoped to finish over the weekend since I was with mom today. Came home and it is done!!😃 By the man who said he would hire someone and never paint again.🥰
Thanks for the shout out on the team.👍 They need to win every game left. We were there, that was our last game of the season.
Hope you have a great weekend, don’t work too hard. Love to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Just came home for a few secs to check out ordering from an Asian restaurant and to check out other things at another Lowes. The vanity, linen closet and flooring were not at the 1st Lowes. Not sure if I will make it to Trivia since I need to do the frig. Will contact the Lowes store when I return home with the order# to see if the frig is there. So much to do. The bathroom that needs to be redone is the guest one which hubby loves. If he is to return home, that bathroom needs to be accessible.

Body Language
Tuning-in to the language of our bodies can be very enlightening, and increases our intuition.
So much can be revealed to us when we listen to the language of our bodies. Our bodies are always speaking, sending us messages through the way we move, the sensations that arise from within, and the gestures and expressions that we make when we are communicating with others. Tuning in to the language of our bodies can be very enlightening, especially as most communication is believed to take place nonverbally. It is also believed that the body never lies, and that if we want to know the truth about ourselves and others, then we should listen to what our bodies have to say. Anyone who has ever flirted with someone they are attracted to has probably, at one point in time or another, brushed their hands through their hair or found themselves leaning forward to get closer to that person. Someone feeling defensive will tend to cross their arms over their chest, while a person who wants to withhold something may look away when speaking.
If you want to know how you truly feel about a person or a situation, then it is a good idea to tune in to what you are feeling inside. Excitement, nervousness, anxiety, and fear are just some of the messages that your body wants you to hear. Your body can also be a very reliable compass. Anyone who has ever been somewhere they don’t want to be has probably experienced their bodies trying to move them away from that particular circumstance. And while it can be very easy to talk ourselves into and out of choices we may make with our minds, it isn’t so easy to change the truth of our hearts that reside within our bodies.
To begin tuning in to this subtle form of communication, start taking the time to notice what your body is telling you. Greet each feeling or sensation as a message carrying wisdom from your body. Tune in to what your body is telling you about the situations and people you encounter and listen to what others are communicating to you through their bodies. We already are subconsciously receptive to the language of our bodies, but when we choose to consciously pay attention, we hear and understand so much more about ourselves and the people around us. AMEN! ✨✨
