Hello Sheba, Happy Summer to you too 😊. Seems things are going by fast.
This morning before 5AM it started thundering, and by 5:30 AM we had a major thunderstorms.
Good thing hubby is working at home this week, he generally leaves for work around 5:30.

Tomorrow I am going to make the below chicken dinner . I will have to tweak it a little. Since hubby can’t really have much fatty dishes. It’s a double whammy Diabetes and Heart disease, this August will be one year he had his triple bypass operation.

I didn’t go to see hubby in rehab. This was mainly due to new soap I used in the shower that have given me a good case of hives. I have been on chlortabs and Benadryl for most of the day, so driving certainly not a good idea. In a sense, I should have known better since the new soap contained 10% sulfur and as you know I am totally allergic to sulfites. “But for the small amount of sulfur I thought it would be safe. Guess not. Then I also ate something that was a no no, so the end result was double trouble. Thank goodness for sinus meds as well. I am just now beginning to feel somewhat human again.

Tomorrow. as you know is garbage pickup and recycle. I do not have enough for recycle, but garbage, plenty and it will go out in the AM. I never know what time pickup will be. Sometimes they come as early as 6 am and others after 2 pm. The alarm is set, so I will be ready and if they come sooner rather than later, Monday is not that far away.

Tomorrow I will wend my way to Costco and Loews. I need some succulent soil and some plants for the back and possibly the front of our home. I also may be uprooting a favorite hibiscus bush because there is a tree growing not far from the roots. In order to get that tree out, they have to remove the hibiscus. Now, that brings me to a question as to whether or not once uprooted, would they be able to save that bush by removal of the tree. Not sure about that one. but it could be an easy fix.

We finally had some real good rain today that lasted a good long time. I imagine that it also caused some street flooding since it was pretty hard in the beginning. There was no thunder or lightning. I started turning every thing off as the clouds became darker and darker. The entire lanai got a good washing. However, I noticed that the screen was again coming away from the wood. I will be contacting the person who redid portions of our lanai early next week. The ones he repaired are still standing. Hmm……and another point. I sent an e-mail about two weeks ago to the roofers explaining that I needed a downspout and an overhang. I will be sending another e-mail tonight. I may have to bite the bullet on this one and contact another contractor.

I sincerely hope that they find that sub and everyone on board is OK. Take care and stay safe. I know your tests came out great. Soon the three of you will be on your way to Colorado.

Good evening I am very concerned about this sub they were on their way to view the
Titanic. The people were not tourist they were experts in deep sea studies.
I have never seen anything like this.

Sheba, Yay to summer arriving and yes we have great weather all year. But you have lots of great things where you live like yards, less people, less traffic, less crime and well you get the idea.
I think if the ring is too big it will be easy to request the lower size since it’s in stock and the price went back to regular. The order went to packaging right away but we will have to see when it ships, with all the thousands sold. There seems to be a lot of green in stock, the celebrity reference didn’t help her case. I love green and really all of the colors.

The sub story is really crazy. I too hope they are found very soon and all are safe. I never really knew the Titantic was so close. I thought it was hit by an iceberg in different waters. Let us know if you hear anything, It’s been on the radio and in the news here so I am sure that’s been the case everywhere.

Being aware of the connection between all things can help you in terms of the broader effect you may be creating.

Staying conscious of the connection between all things can help you think of your choices and your life in terms of the broader effect you may be creating.

Think of buying a wooden stool. The wood was once part of a tree, which was part of a forest. A person was paid to fell the tree, another to cut the wood, and yet another to build the stool. Their income may have had a positive effect on their families, just as the loss of the tree may have had a negative impact on the forest or the animals that made that tree their home.

An encouraging word to a young child about their special talent can influence them to develop their gift so that one day their inventions can change the lives of millions. A poem written to express oneself can make a stranger reading it thousands of miles away feel less alone.

Staying conscious of your connection to all things can help you think of your choices in terms of their impact. We are powerful enough that what we do and say can reverberate through the lives of people we may never meet. Understanding that you are intimately connected with all things and understanding your power to affect our world can be the first step on the road to living more consciously. AMEN! 🌹✨✨
