Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please

Hi Oodie, thank you very much for the birthday shout out to mom. We had a great day. You must have had a premonition – mom and sis are doing a cruise the last week of August to Bermuda. They are driving and leaving from Baltimore. Wishing you and hubs good luck today at the appointment. Please know I think of you both every day.💕

Good afternoon to you. Another on/off rain day here.🌧 And looks like rain each day for the next week.
We had a lovely time with mom yesterday. Good food and when the waitress heard it was mom’s 93rd birthday, she treated her to her favorite dessert – cheesecake with blueberries and white chocolate.🍰 Their cheesecake is at least five inches high – huge, huge! She also had her one glass of white with dinner.🍷 When we toasted mom, I silently toasted your dad, also.😌💗
I hope you feel better quickly. The sneezing season is here in the ‘burgh.🤧 We will be back into the 50’s for highs next week. Crazy weather, we will probably go from 50 to 90 in one day. Most of my hockey favorites are hanging in there.🏒 Will be glad to get to the second round and not so many games on all at once.
I have been seeing chocolate labs all over the place lately. Must be Jake sending me a message to send you and Poppy lots of hugs and love.🤗💖

The Importance of Sleep
Regular periods of sleep are key to a healthy body and a clear mind, as it is during sleep that your body renews itself.
When life gets busy, sleep is often the first activity that we sacrifice. Considered a luxury by many busy people, sleep is actually as vital to sustaining a balanced life as are breathing, eating, and drinking. Some people may thrive on just four hours, while others don’t feel well rested unless they’ve slept for ten hours. How much we sleep also varies, depending upon where we are in life. Young people often need more sleep, while older people may need less. The benefits of sleep always stay the same. Regular and consistent periods of wakefulness and sleep are key ingredients to fostering a healthy body and a clear mind. It is during sleep that your body renews itself.
The ability to forgo sleep is considered by some to be an asset. But while it may seem that the nighttime hours can be better used for more productive activities, sleep in itself is extremely productive. During sleep, your body and psyche are both regaining their strength for the coming day. You may even have the unique opportunity to explore the hidden recesses of your personality while you dream. Meanwhile, your long-term memories are reinforced.
Many cultures engage in an afternoon siesta. Taking a nap is refreshing and can increase both productivity and creativity. Author Lewis Carroll is said to have conceived his idea for Alice in Wonderland while dreaming. A good night’s sleep also has been known to bring with it the gifts of clarity, wisdom, and a fresh perspective. Even the ancient Greeks thought of sleep as a gift from the gods. Give yourself the gift of peaceful slumber and you will likely find yourself feeling alert, refreshed, and ready for life’s challenges. You may also find yourself feeling more centered, thoughtful, and aware throughout the day so you can live your full potential. AMEN!

a butterfly yesterday but I have seen them and the butterfly came right to me they always
