Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎

I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

    @oodiebom,

    Good afternoon on the Gulf Coast of Florida. ✨I want to say first I wish the best with
    the orthopedist visit today. I know you just want to know what is going on once and for all.

    I am glad your husband is doing much better. Please let us know how this visit go today.
    Take your time today. ✨

    Oodie thank you for your kind thoughts on my father’s whose birthday was yesterday. The
    day was an emotional one for me and my entire family. This whole month I have been off
    and on I just try not to show it. It is what it is. 🌹

    If hubby is asking for Asian food well that is a good sign he has an appetite. πŸ’•πŸŒΉπŸ˜Ž

    Oodie take care of you today too perhaps I will see you in Trivia later.

      @sheba2011

      It was a rather long and tiring day. I was up early to do one load of laundry for hubby and included myself as well. He needed clothing for today and I arrived at the Rehab hours before his late afternoon appointment. I did meet the Occupational therapist who mentioned that he has a long road ahead and that returning home is no longer an option. That advice I took with a grain of salt. Hubby has a determined spirit and he will return to our home here in Fl..He also mentioned t hat he will be able to walk up the 3 steps to our home. I do not doubt it. But going North may have to wait a bit and that is OK. The Rehab drove him to his appointment and then we waited over an hour to be seen. Xrays were taken and then we met with the doctor. He didn’t like what he saw and will be trying other methods first. He does not wish to perform surgery at th is time. It will be a wait and see. He did give hubby a cortisone shot in the knee and by the time I left some of that swelling did go down. We will need to make an appointment within 4- 6wks…After the appointment hubby returned to rehab and I drove to a Dim Sum place. The restaurant was quite large and at 5 pm most tables were filled. I ordered spareribs, bokchoy, and congee (porridge) with pork. I was surprised that the food was still piping hot by the time I reached the Rehab which took 45 min. due to heavy traffic on the Interstate . Hubby ate everything. I smiled on the inside watching him. His appetite has grown in the past couple of weeks. I surmise it was the medication that made him sleep all day. Thanks to the Head Nurse, he found the culprit . I ate the porridge and I do have one container untouched which I will bring to hubby tomorrow. I p roceeded to fall asleep soon after in the chair I was using. I awoke way after 10pm. Neither hubby or his roommate awakened me. Hmm…I wonder if the nursing staff would have let me be. That’s a good question.

      I hope you had a great day even though things were not that easy for you. I hope you see the butterfly soon and have that special chitchat. I know he can hear you and is with you. Take care and enjoy your plantings tomorrow.

    @xango,

    Good afternoon in Florida. ✨🌹I am glad the Hibiscus is starting to bloom. I have been a bit
    under the weather this month. ✨Keeping busy keeps my mind from wondering I will leave
    it at that.

    I am so glad you got some good rain. OZ is beautiful today.

    Hey see ya in Trivia. 😎😘
