Conversation – 18
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Good evening I had a very nice Mother’s Day considering Covid-19. Let me tell it took
nothing away from me. ✨😎 I thank god I got all my vaccines and I do believe that helped
a lot. I am healthy despite my fight with Breast Cancer was is all clear. I still have the girls
so there it is. Life is what it is you never know what is going to happen it’s all in the attitude. The person who did the Covid-19 and treatment said to think positive I was so stunned.
I let my guard down for one brief afternoon with my brother and his wife. ✨✨
I love my brother still and he and wife are safe in Colorado and working from home.I hope you are enjoying this Hockey Series. I know how much you love it. ✨
Lady I am not going to let this little set back stop me from living my only thing is had I
went with my brother to Colorado I would have given this to my mother. All of the family is concerned and I am doing fine. 🌹Thank you for your sweet post.
Relax and enjoy the Hockey Games. 😘😎🌹

Good evening thanks for posting and asking how I was. Hubby and I are doing very well
so far I think and hope the worse is over. I hate the demon known as Covid-19. I am a fighter
and that is what I am doing. My brother and SIL in Colorado are working from home so they are fine. Step-Mom is
doing alright as well she is 78 years old.I love hearing about your nephew bless his heart I know you can’t wait to hold him
one day. Hey Oz was in the 50’s today and it rained all day hubby and I just worked in
the house. So glad the lawn was done because the rain in these parts make your grass
grow fast. I know your plants are beautiful you have that Florida Sunshine. 😎✨ -

Hello to you and your husband 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
So glad you two have been able to continue your routine at home. How was your Mother’s Day?
I communicated with many members of my family in Brazil. My grand nephew born last August is growing fast. And cute as ever, he tries to speak and out comes these real funny sounds.
A Florida reef gecko, brown speckled sphaero got into the house last week. We attempted to capture it but it was so fast and ran under furniture. First the couch then the buffet. I thought it had died somewhere under something. Yesterday I saw it twice and again tried to capture it and it’s still fast and got away. Not sure how it’s staying alive. I watered the inside plants, there’s lots so it can find water. Maybe it’s finding tiny spiders in corners I can’t see. 😀
Feel better both of you…………take care Sheba 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺 -
Good afternoon to you. Glad all is stable in your house. Hope your brother and wife are getting through this covid with mild symptoms, too. I’m sure you had a lovely Mother’s Day.💗💐
Beautiful day and most of the week should be good, 60’s and 70’s. My niece and her son from Georgia coming up to see SIL. Her grandson will stay most of the summer so will probably run around with them a few days.🏃♀️
Hockey teams are doing great. So far the ones I’ve wanted to win are advancing.👍 Game 7 tonight and then the semi-finals start.🏒
Sending get well wishes, hugs and love from me and Jake.🙏🤗💖

Good afternoon from a sunny and humid Gulf Coast. Temp is above 90 and no rain is expected today. It is a bit on the windy side. Good day for some sinus activity. Not to worry, I carry my meds wherever I go.
I didn’t see hubby yesterday. for some reason I have the itches and hives. I had to take double meds and just too tired to drive. What I thought were hives has turned to eczema. Never a dull moment in this house.
Think I will make my life easier. Will order a pizza for the three of us and have it delivered to the rehab. Tomorrow is my meeting with the rehab staff. I hope it will be a way home for hubby. Most of all, I hope will be able to climb the three steps to the front door
With Covid you never know what path it will take. Just remember that you will have a good day that may be followed with reclining on a couch or chair. It has many ups and downs. Hope your hubby is taking it easy after mowing the lawn.
Yesterday, I was able to sit in the lanai.. There was a light breeze that made it more palatable. I happened to glance up and noticed our overhang was dancing in the windo. That should not happen. Then glancing over at the screened door, noticed the door was OK, but the surrounding area was not plumb. There was no overhang on one side. Guess it means another fight to have this remedied. Then, again, may call in someone else to do the repairs. And some of the roof is starting to shred in one area. I would contact the people who finally showed, but it will be months before the areas are repaired. I have a name of a businee that repairs lanai’s and am thinking of contacting them. I really need to have the area properly repaired. I’ll keep you posted..

Chanting
By using your breath and your voice with chanting, you raise the level of your own vibration to a higher spiritual state.
In many cultures and civilizations, chanting, a form of vocal meditation, has endured through the ages. Practiced by many people around the world seeking greater health, a sense of well-being, enlightenment, and a connection to the divine, chanting unites the mind, body, emotions, and breath through vocal sounding. This unification can open and nurture your creativity, lower stress levels, and teach you to become fully alert and in the moment.
Some people are naturally drawn to chant while others feel awkward using their voices in such a way. Singing along with recorded chants before chanting on your own can help dispel any nervousness. However, the chanting that will resonate most deeply and beneficially for you is the chanting you do for yourself. There are many different chants. They can be composed of names, words, sounds, syllables, or even sections of text. What you chant is less important than your willingness to focus fully on the act of chanting itself. To begin, sit comfortably with a straight back and take a series of long, deep breaths to open and flex your lungs. Then, take another breath, and with resonant tones direct your breath outward in the form of sound. Simple syllables like ‘oh,’ ‘ee,’ or ‘mm’ are easy to remember.
Chanting lets you raise the level of your own vibration to a higher spiritual state. You can chant as an invocation or to set intention. Reciting even the simplest chant can bolster a flagging spirit, hone the mind, and produce natural painkillers within the brain. While chanting, you may feel energy surging through your physical body or joy entering your heart. Chanting can liberate and ground you simultaneously because it allows your soul to soar freely while compelling you to focus on the here and now. AMEN to that. ✨✨
