I think I will be able to get hubby home. The shower already has a seat. What I may do is a shower renovation which means no steps in or out. However, I would rather find a home that has no steps whatsoever with access to the lanai where the sliders open fully. I may be asking too much, but a pool would certainly help with getting the swelling down and hopefully, with the right exercise, get him walking again. I have been looking for a new home for 4 or 5 years now and some of the pricing has come down, well, somewhat. I really do not think either of us are ready for Assisted Living. Though Florida has some beautiful places, this is not an answer for us. As I said earlier, I have a couple of phone calls into our primary physician and the orthopedist. If we can get one knee done, walking will not pose a problem. There are certain blockages that can be used that may not hurt the brain activity. The head nurse is working with me on this, but he needs some answers. There are also lifts that i can use to get hubby in and out of bed. And that I will look into if need be. The reconstructive surgery takes only one hour from start to finish. He will not be walking on that leg for at least 24 hours following surgery. My husband definitely wants the surgery, so will see what I can do on my end. I am crying on the inside, but strong enough to know what I can do to change the situation and give hubby the hope he needs. I think the pool idea will definitely help. I will be looking at alternatives.

Being Witnessed

Feel their gratitude, attention, warmth, and support, while noticing the sense of safety you feel as they surround you. If you feel inspired, share your innermost thoughts about the day and your life. You may be surprised at the feelings of peace and validation that arise within you, when you feel safe enough to go deep into your soul and share yourself with those you trust.

Anyone who has ever seen love, admiration, acceptance, or appreciation reflected in a friend or loved one’s eyes knows how transformative that experience can be. When you bare yourself to another, you are giving them the gift of you and showing them that they also matter. In letting yourself be witnessed, you are letting others into your intimate space, stepping in the sacred container they have created for you, and creating a cauldron of positive affirmation, support, love, and goodwill that will stay with you forever. I just took my last round of meds for Covid-19 which means I am a happy camper.
It is what it is. That’s Life.

Oz is beautiful today with some Sun. The grass, plants and flowers are thriving in
the rain we have had for days. 💕

Good morning in S. California. I hope you are still sleeping. ✨Taci remember we are
all on different time zones. Here in OZ we are past Noon there in S. California you are
just past 10:00 a.m. In Florida and the East Coast it is well past 1:00 p.m.

Thank you for posting and I am done with the Covid-19 Medicine. I do feel better so
no issues there. I will go and get a re-test in a few days to see how things are. ✨🌹

My husband will be returning to work next week.

I am feeling much better with Covid-19 I took my last round of the medicine today. I am done
with meds. I don’t have much of an appetite but I do know to eat and drink plenty of fluids.

I don’t know what to say I would not give up. I have seen wheelchairs and some are very
lightweight and portable. My dad had one and it worked fine.

This is a lot to take in I am trying to wrap my head around this and I know you are too.

Oodie I am making a new post for you but I wanted to respond to you I am so sorry.

I am so glad you visit him often what I would do is have some help to get him in the
house there in Florida. I am sure some neighbors will offer a hand or someone from the
Rehab can offer assistance and bring him home with you driving ahead.
