I appreciate all the suggestions and tips. I have done many baskets over the years from food, spa-like items, candles and household things. I try to stay away from personal things like perfume, makeup and jewelry as I have gotten those things and they have not been my style. Unless someone tells me exactly what they want, I buy gifts based on what I would want or could use. I never get seasonal gifts. At my age I don’t want something I use once a year. The hard part is changing it up year to year. I belong to Sam’s so I will probably stop there. Otherwise, I may go the soap/shower gel/lotion route online. Or the catch-all, non-personal wine. I also may stop in Hallmark since they are close to me and not in a mall. I have found some cute things there over the years.
