I would get your hearing checked by the ENT I have read Covid-19 can affect hearing
as well a lot of things in different people. Oodie I pray I never get that you knew what
to do I think you and your husband were very lucky.

That was a good thing you did for your stepmom. I’m sure she is hurting as much as you. This year has been real tough on all of us in so many different ways. You, I think had the worse part and yet you went on as if nothing happened. Me, I would be a basket case. This is something that hubby and I have often spoke of. We would be so lost without the other. Everyday I pray that this dementia thing is just from Covid, but, realistically, I know deep down that there will be some good and bad days, though the last few weeks have been so great. His voice, which was very low is now back to normal. I wish I could say the same about my hearing. But, I am now saying I need help to hear someone at the door or to speak with friends while shopping. Now, I also must find a nose, ear and throat physician since the audiologist thinks there are other things going on. Who knows. Time will tell. I’m letting my fingers do the walking on line to find the right doctor.

I hope your neighbor enjoys the pie and whatever else you brought him. And to think it took at
pandemic to bring out the niceties in people. I just hope it continues when all is said and done. .

I was so into cooking and baking today I almost made Poppy a plate. I thought of Jake.😘
My day was not so bad I do my dad and I made it through the day. 💕

I had fun talking to our children on FaceTime we did not miss a beat. I am tired
hubby is knock out already. I am going to watch a movie and take a shower.

Thank you for your kind words and sentiment. It means so much to hear from friends like you and letting me know how your day went. You are so fortunate to have your mom all these many years. It must be nice for her to see you as a grownup, though it probably makes her feel a bit older. This brings to mind a magazine I enjoy reading from time to time. It’s called “Reminisce.” Some fascinating stories and history that go back to the 30s, 40s, etc.. Don’t get the subscription until you look at it first. Not everyone likes this magazine.

Sorry to hear what you and your husband went through. I’m just thankful that everything turned out OK for you and Sheba. Thank goodness for the advances in medical technology. Without that who knows what could have happened.

I also understand where you are coming from on gift giving. In that respect we are quite similar. I also do not like giving candy, cookies, parfume, etc. etc.. I only purchase what I like and would love to receive. I do not relish shopping for the sake of a gift. The stores I mentioned was not for that purpose but to give you a look see for ideas. This the time of year I enjoy shopping. Love the Christmas decorations as well as things to put into a kitchen theme. Candles are nice as well. I remember a couple of years ago I brought the candles that run on batteries to my neighbor. They were from Jeffrey Banks I believe on HSN. They change color and also come with a remote. They came in handy a few weeks later when the electricity went out for two or three days. In a sense they were better than a candle. No smell. The one place I miss is the Christmas Tree Shop where you can just walk around and enjoy the mood. A few years ago they had a sweatshirt bag with a State logo. It was a tote bag and great for shopping. At $9 each I found a few for Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Wisconsin, Boston, Michigan, to name a few. I gave so many away and kept the one that said Cape Cod for myself. I used it on a cruise and the stewards got a kick out of it. But, that’s just a thought. You never know what you will find in that store. Last year I gave the person that does my hair a mini barber chair and added a doll with long hair. I found both pieces on line.

Anyway, enough said. I made our turkey late this afternoon. Everything came out just right. Hubby mentioned that the turkey was the best. Hmm…. He says the nicest things…..😃 LOL.

Your post tonight is heartfelt. 😘🌹 Oodie I did not know what to do that day.
I was stunned like so much this year I was trying to just survive the night.

All of us is carrying some kind of burden. I wanted so much to be in Colorado with my
family. This crazy virus has all of us just waiting to see when there will be a cure and it is
gone once and for all.

I had a good day the waves came with my father but I feel I did alright. My Step-Mom
and I talked. Hubby took her some of our meal. We are social distance because she
has had open heart surgery she is in her 70’s.

Sorry about the appliances in your home smart of you to check things out for yourself. 😎
Have you always been a night Owl? I always go to sleep after 11:00 p.m. Oodie if I don’t
I will be up all night. My husband only sleeps four hours a night. I sleep eight! I am up
early I work this thread into my day. 😘Oodie tomorrow is Trivia I almost forgot. I wonder
if it felt like Thanksgiving for everyone. I felt the thankful part. 💕
