Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

“What A Wonderful World”I see trees of green
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful worldI see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful worldThe colors of the rainbow
So pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces
Of people going by
I see friends shaking hands
Saying, “How do you do?”
They’re really saying
“I love you”I hear babies cry
I watch them grow
They’ll learn much more
Than I’ll never know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful worldYes, I think to myself
What a wonderful worldOh yeah

Good Evening. We were out and about this morning. We had cloudy skies with the sun coming out of hiding every so often. Temps were warm, but not overly, and there was no humidity. I was wondering if the weathermen got the forecast all wrong. But around 4pm I just happened to look outside and the sky was jet black. I decided to look out from our den windows. By the time both of us got there it was pouring torrents with flashes of lightning and the bellows of thunder. Turned on the TV and there was red at the bottom outlining the areas of real severe weather including tornadoes. We dodged the tornadoes, but not the bursts of raindrops. I think xango may be getting the worse of the storms. I just hope she and her husband are safe.
Cooler temps are now in our forecast for the next few days. In Florida, the cold snaps hang around for a day or two and then we return to what the weathermen call normalcy. I do miss the snow, but not the shoveling part. Be sure if it’s a wet snow that you put something down to prevent falls.I enjoy Andrew’s vitamins. They are expensive when you compare the price to the products in other retail and vitamin stores and even the warehouses. But when “push comes to shove,” his ingredients speak volumes. His ingredients cannot be found anywhere nor do they do the job that his does. I have added some of his immune factors and feel good. I felt those were needed to get back on my feet after Covid. To this day I do not know how both of us dodged the bullet when we were so ill on that cruise. We thank god everyday for seeing us through that tough period and for giving us insight through the news media. Dr. Fauci remarked today that if 75% of the population adheres to his advice and takes the shots, that by the middle of Autumn we may be able to enjoy the theater, the movies, dinner out and inside a restaurant, etc.. I would love to see this sooner rather than later. But, there is some semblance of light after that long, dark, morbid tunnel that we have been through.
That’s it for now. Dress warm, snuggle under those blankets and comforters and stay safe. Tell hubby to take it easy if shoveling is in order tomorrow. If the snow is fluffy enough, sweep instead of shovel. Don’t forget our gal is on tonight. Happy shopping…..😎💖💖

Sheba, The Christmas tree dress are a real treat and if it wasn’t for this thread I would not have ever seen them, so thank you. Sounds like you will have snow for Christmas. We are dry here and no sign of any rains to come.
Getting a package out at 6am, wow, those are some dedicated HSN and postal employees. -
Good afternoon – it has been snowing since 10:00am today,❄❄ back and forth between light and heavy. I have not stepped out of the house. Hubby has shoveled a path off the deck three times so Jake can get off into the yard. He comes in looking like a snowman, all his brown covered in white.⛄ I’m sure we will get the 6-9″ as the latest prediction. If you don’t hear from me tomorrow, it will most likely be because I don’t have power.😣 Keeping fingers crossed. I made a pot of vegetable soup and a cherry pie early so we are set with dinner and dessert.🥣🥧
Have something warm to drink by the fire tonight.☕🔥 Jake sending white nose kisses to Poppy.
