Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

So far Sheba this has been a pretty good week. I’ve had some extra time where I could actually put my feet up and relax. I am still going through drawers and closets which seems like a never ending job. Get one thing done and there are at least twenty things added to an already long list. I have to admit we haven’t moved any furniture because our backs have been bothering us and I guess it’s all due to the weather change here in Florida. It is cold here and I surmise we will be turning up the heat tonight. Temps are supposed to go into the low 40s tonight which is similar to your 20s. To say we don’t feel it is an understatement.
Hubby broke a front middle tooth a few days ago. I asked if he saved it, he said he couldn’t find it. Guess when all things are said and we are able to travel, both of us will be making some necessary appointments. I have tried to find someone here but they do not seem to want to do fillings or crowns. Rather, they seem to feel that the implants are the way to go. The tooth doesn’t bother him, so I guess we will wait and see.
Tomorrow is Trivia. I am not sure of next week because of Christmas. The Arcade will be opened, but not sure of anything else. If there is no game, we could sit around and have a conversation. I know many who post in Community are alone and thus this may help to make the holiday for them even brighter.
While I am sitting here, I just remembered that one thing I enjoyed in College was Choric Speech. We didn’t sing, but rather told the stories of others to an audience using our voices. At the time my voice was a soprano and speaking rather than singing meant I was always on key. I remember we did “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” for children as well as for those in Convalescent homes. It was a huge success. I do not think there were more than twenty of us in the group. So much fun and so rewarding. Oh yes, one of the fraternities every year did Christmas caroling. We sang all over Beacon Hill. The last stop was the college President where he would invite us in for hot chocolate and sandwiches. The best homemade food of the season before returning home for the holidays.
