Taci I have been taking Lessman’s Astaxathin since he brought it to HSN. My eye doctor swears by it because it contains a lot of Kale. More than what we can eat. “Knock on wood,” since I’ve been taking all three of his eye support I haven’t had any changes in my eyes or the cataracts. It’s been years since I have needed new glasses and that also goes for reading glasses. Hope this helps with your decision.

I guess this could be a P.S. But, I actually forgot to tell you that I am enjoying your day to day pictures for the Christmas season. The decorations and the food are absolutely gorgeous. On occasion I just wish I could put my hand through the monitor and partake a little of everything.

I also forgot to mention that my parents home was in an Oriental motif from kitchen to bedrooms. I now have those momentoes in the North and have brought a couple of pieces to Florida which I’ve used in entertaining. And, yes, I have continued the theme with some of my own findings. So much fun to go out and see something that matches. Sadly, though, I have not been able to go out and about to many of the flea markets, second hand shops, barn sales, garage and yard sales for almost a year due to the pandemic. I haven’t even been to any of my favorite retail stores. After having Covid, it is just not worth getting a second dose. I’m just trying to be extra careful. And with this new wave that may be here, too scary to think about anything else. We just go marketing and return home. Thank goodness for our lanai where we can spend some time outside. So important to get some fresh air. Just take care of yourselves and stay safe.

Today’s hike was all hills, down into a basin and then up to get out, it ends with my favorite hill that is steep, and if one of us was going to have a heart attack, this is the hill that would do it. For some reason its fun and i like the challenge.
I’ll go and check the Heidi Daus thread. Sheba it’s nice of you to keep all these threads going.

Hi. I thought our doctor appointments were yesterday, but they were today. Both of us had a good report and so the next visit is in six months. That will bring us to May. He also mentioned that he doubts we would be getting the vaccine before March and recommended that we wait at least two or three weeks after the last shot before making plans to head North. So, if we decide to leave in April, we would need to change the appointment. He checked my arm, hip and back and he felt all the pain was muscle and thank goodness not bone. I thought the shoulder was bursitis and I already decided that I would take the pain rather than a shot that would last only a couple of weeks. He also mentioned that I need another Mam to make sure things are OK. I will contact the group after Christmas. What I didn’t know is that I was supposed to have a follow up in November. No mention at time of biop and nothing in the follow up letter.

I think we will be shopping tomorrow. I am literally out of fruit, bread and veggies. I am also going to return the new computer that has many bad reviews. Those reviews were not there at time of purchase. There was nothing good stated. Not to worry, there is something else I am looking at that is not only less expensive, but has everything the other one has. Only thing missing is the 27″ monitor. I may wait a while on the purchase to see if anything else comes up. And hubby is happy with this decision. He never wanted it in the first place (“now he tells me !!) 😎😊🤣

Yes, if we are up and about tomorrow I will purchase flowers or a flowering plant.

Maybe your sister will be safer staying put in PA, definitely if she is from the LA area. LA is not the place to be at this time for so many reasons and those Covid numbers are scary. I’m guessing, if you are like me, whenever you start feeling sniffles or allergies, you worry its Covid. Tonight, my son mentioned someone he works with had it and is now back at work. Since she was gone about 3 weeks, I am guessing we are ok here. Aloha to your sister.

Shoelady, no fun being ill just prior to Christmas. Make yourself some hot tea and add Manuka honey and see if that helps. Don’t forget chicken soup and veggies. That may be the best thing.
Hope you and hubby will be able to visit with Mom and Sister and enjoy the evening out. Take care.

Thank you for the well wishes. My sister, who is here right now staying at mom’s, is a southern CA girl. She lived in Hawaii for ten years then moved to CA in the early 90’s. I know she wanted to go back before February but things look so bleak right now. Taci, please be safe with your family and mom. Praying things improve in CA and everywhere.🙏
