Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Oodie, just read your post and completely agree. On the days I opt for the essential, I do not take my other d3 and also add a 2nd supplement. My Essential does not have the omega’s but I will be on the look out about that since I have another bottle tucked away. However, I take the calcium, so on it goes. I only want 1000 D3, and noticed the new formula that was a ts was 2000.
If it was 1000, I would have purchased. They eye supplement will most likely be the net one I try.
My Dr was in favor of the omega and calcium, and never specified an amount. They just ask what I take, and never how much. But too much of a good thing isn’t good either. Appreciate the information.Put a frozen pumpkin pie in the oven (from Aldi’s) and the label says it has to cool for 2 hours. I give my husband 10 minutes….
Have a good evening!Edited to add, you might want to try Hersheys cocoa from the baking section. It is unsweetened. You can make your own at home.

This is my second attempt. My computer crashed, then when I was able to turn it on again, it could not find the Internet. So, I closed down completely, unplugged everything and started it up again about ten minutes later. It seemed to work, at least, this time. However, I had just completed a post to you, and guess what, it’s there somewhere, but where. So, I will try to remember what I said.
Weather in Florida was picture perfect today. Sunny, few clouds, warm with temps in the mid 70s, and no humidity. Just like a normal spring day. Tonight will be in the 60s and clear. We will not need the heat tonight or the A/C. . Tomorrow is a different story. It will start out nice and temps could be in the mid to high 70s. Sometime in the afternoon things will change. Winds and rain. There may be a chance for severe weather, so I will be glued to the radio and TV. . Also tomorrow I will be doing some laundry and will keep an eye on the weather. I will try to get most of it completed before the storm hits which may not be an easy task. In other words, I want to complete the washing process so if it freezes during the night, we will not have pipes that burst. Yes, tomorrow night we could see temps in the 30s and some areas in the 20s. And the same for Saturday night. Not sure of the temps for the day on Saturday since I missed that part. We are all set. Picked up lots of veggies today at the market and a few pieces of fruit. The Dragon Fruit was $4.99/lb. I passed.
No, I didn’t purchase flowers or a plant. Saw the flowers and wasn’t impressed. Plants were sold out. They will probably have plants next week for New Years.
This evening I looked for the hot chocolate. I know I made some during the spring and returned it to the pantry. Only now, it isn’t where I put it. Wonder if hubby either moved it or threw it. The one I had was sugar free. I also had others that said no sugar added. Had enough to last another year or two. Just wish that HSN would carry dessert products with no sugar or no sugar added or both. Some of their meat products already have added salt. Funny, I do not add salt to any of our dishes. I just put a couple of shakers on the table so everyone can add the amount they like.
On the six month check up. At first I was angry, but then I wondered if the protocol here was to inform our physician and he in turn would have his staff contact me. None of that happened. I will call Tuesday for an appointment for the follow up. Would do it Monday, but realize that the staff had a long weekend and may not be in the mood to answer phones, etc.. I definitely want to get this over with. Then will also ask about the annual. My blood work was excellent including the red blood cell count. So, hoping the mam will be OK.
That’s it for now. Please be careful when walking Poppy, especially after the storms pass through. Also, don’t let your hubby overdo anything, at least for awhile longer.

On the Omega, I take two capsules per day as the recommended dose from our physician. I read all the labels because Andrew is always adding some that I am already taking. For instance his Essential One Vitamins now include the Omega and the D3. I did order the Essential One a few months ago when it was on sale. There was one without the Omega but he still included the D3. So, I cut down on the D3. I just wish he wouldn’t do that and leave a bottle for those who do not wish the extras within.
If you wish to try the Astaxathin, why not try one of his smaller bottles and see if it helps. You can also contact Pro Caps directly and speak with his customer service staff who are quite knowledgeable. It’s a toll free number. Also you can check the vitamins there as well. There are times he offers them less than what it costs on HSN.

Oodie, thanks for the post about the eye supplement. It helps. I just like to make sure I don’t overdue it as some ingredients are in multiple supplements. I was wondering since the eye supplement contains omega’s then do we need to still take those as stand a lones or maybe take 1 instead of 2. That type of thing. I also want to check out 2 ingredients that I prefer not be there and may ask a Dr. about it. Not sure yet.
Hope you and your husband had a good day in Florida.
Sorry to hear your new computer wasn’t as expected. Fingers crossed the new one is perfect for you! -
oh, and Sheba, if I do run into him, will be sure to let you know. So stay tuned.

Never seen anything like this before.
Adorable and very trusting dog. -
Beautiful set Sheba.

Sheba, “they are not dense”, I am sure they are not – I get it. Maybe there is just something innate in people that they have to be on the move. Today I saw what looked like a Girl Scout Mom/troup leader, and about 8 or more kids in a group, no masks, not one. I decided to order some groceries for pick up, this will be the 1st time I am trying it, but our hospitals are reporting zero icu capacity and so on….
Hope you are feeling better and keeping that cold at bay. Maybe you need some of Shoelady’s hot toddy. It seemed to work.
Caught the lovely Heidi Daus today. Wow, those were some very low prices. I put 2 items in my fav’s to look another day. The Jay King Silver cuff you posted is also there but it will have to stay there for a while.
Wishing you all a safe and warm holiday!
