Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

As we bring in and celebrate a New Year, may it be a happier and healthier one for you both. Someday, this will be behind us and just a passing memory. Here I am hoping not only for better days, but more daily activities that we have all missed during the year 2020;
When you are up to it, please let us know how your hubby is doing. Remember to get some rest. And please try to stay safe.

Good Evening. I went into our Trivia thread from last week. For some reason just our first page is showing. I have no idea what happened to the other two. Some of those conversations were from participants reaching out with problems and others who joined us because they felt they were not alone. It was Christmas and I don’t believe we were saying anything that should not have been. No explanation. Sad to see. Oh well, tomorrow, hopefully, will be a better day.
Not sure what we will be doing tonight. We will be staying in. Usually around 8pm we are getting comfortable on the lanai and waiting for the first fireworks. This year it is cloudy and rain is predicted tonight and into tomorrow. Another cold front is on it’s way. Just do not know how cool it will become. I am hoping that next year, at this time, we will be bringing in the New Year with our family, friends and neighbors and everything that happened this year will just be a bad dream or a passing memory. We all deserve a better year with tons of smiles. Hubby and I have not eaten out, gone to the movies or the theater, been to the beach, enjoyed a few days of yard/garage sales, gone retail shopping, etc.. The Year 2021 certainly has to be better. So, here is to better days and events we can’t wait to go to.
I hope everything is Ok with shoelady and that the procedure went well with her husband. I am praying that in the days to come that all will be better and there will be no repercussions from whatever he was given. I also mentioned to Shoelady that to be prepared for her husband to be kept overnight or longer just to be sure there are no other problems. Hopefully, he will be fine. Covid comes to us without an invite and for some reason takes a long time to leave. I am happy to see that the PCP is keeping an eye on her husband. That’s a good thing.
Sounds like he is in good hands. -
Have a great New Year love Loaf.

Editing Your Life
You have the choice to accept your life script you’ve written thus far, or edit it so you can create a life that fulfills you.
Our lives can be compared to an ongoing movie script over which we have complete creative control. Within us lies the power to examine what works or isn’t working in our lives and make “edits” to our life’s script, accordingly. Choosing to actively edit your life can be incredibly empowering. As you evolve, you have the choice to accept the script you’ve written thus far or edit it so you can create a life that fulfills you. You can cut out from your life’s script what is no longer working for you. Acknowledging that you are responsible for the experience you create gives you the ability to create the life you’ve always longed for.
Granted, editing your real life isn’t always as easy as erasing a line of text. If you’ve carried emotional baggage or held on to an unhealthy relationship for a long time, these may be difficult to edit out. But when you do cut out what isn’t working from your life, you’ll feel lighter and more alive. Editing out activities that you find stressful, disassociating yourself from people that drain your energy, and letting go of your emotional baggage are all beneficial cuts you can make. In the empty spaces that are left behind, you can add in anything you like. Just as you have the power to edit out negative situations or beliefs that you no longer wish to have as part of your life, you can now include the kinds of positive experiences, people, and beliefs that you would like to fill your life with. The manifestation of these thoughts and images as realities in your life will inevitably follow. As you make changes to your life, you can also add in the bits where you choose more intimate, healthier relationships, seek out adventure over tedium, and are no longer negatively impacted by old experiences.
To begin editing your life, simply think about your positive and negative experiences. When you determine what parts of your life are no longer serving you, make the commitment to remove them — though, it is important to remember that there is no proper timing or way to do this, and patience and compassion for yourself are always important during this process. Then, ask yourself what has brought you profound bliss and consider how you can make those experiences and beliefs part of your life now. With a little editing, you’ll be able to clear out what is no longer serving you and make room in your life for more happiness, love, and wisdom.
