Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

@Sheba, Love Twilight Zones, but I seem to have gravitated to some of the old Columbo’s.
It was kind of you to help your neighbor. I am sure he appreciated the help. Took down some decorations today, left the outside lights up though.
Glad your niece is safely back. Wonder how the flying experience was for her? Did she mention anything? Los Angeles is not doing well and even our numbers seem to be escalating.Have a great evening in Oz.

Sounds like your hubby has turned the corner. There still could be some bad days ahead but no where like the last 10. Don’t overdo the cleaning. Do a little each day. I actually took everything out of the closets and our dresser and started washing everything in sight in our bedroom. Did a few loads each day until it was done.I also washed each drawer and used a lysol sheet in each one. I never want to hear or see Covid AGAIN…..
I hope this is the beginning of a very Happy and Healthy New Year. Take care of yourself. Give a hello to your sister and mom for me. Above all may you all stay safe.

Thank you for the hot chocolate which is good on any day of the week. Warm today in Florida with temps in the 80s. Our cool down starts tomorrow with showers. I do have the A/C on in the mid 70s and will go to the lower 70s during the night. I would rather be in the mid 60s but hubby loves a warm home.
We didn’t go out today as planned. My back, hip and shoulder had other plans and hubby’s back was real bad. We decided to remain home with the recliners. I mentioned the pains to our physician and he did some testing and said it was more a muscle thing. So now I am beginning to wonder if the vents from the A.C are causing the problem.
Sounds like Mr. Shoelady is beginning to feel a bit better. I am happy at the news. It’s not easy being a caretaker during the episode nor is it easy on the patient. I also wasn’t that fortunate in getting tested for Covid. Seems there were no tests available on our return from the cruise and by the time Florida had access it seemed it went only to the East Coast. There was nothing on the West Coast until middle of April. And now watching the long lines for the innoculations and most without masks is disheartening to say the least. Oh well, I will just play the waiting game. Actually, this will give me an opportunity to see if there are any repercussions or side effects.
Your meatballs look delicious. Funny, we had some tonight. I usually make rice with it. Pour the meatballs and sauce over the rice with a side of salad.
Your neighbor sounds like a lovely person. Really nice of you to help him shovel out. Hope he gets better soon and can put the “C” word behind him. Hate it. My hope is that there is a cure for it and soon. Also need a cure for macular degeneration. The scientists are working on a stem cell cure and I surmise they have the cure but do not know how long it lasts. That’s an important piece of the puzzle.
Have a great evening. Stay safe.
