Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Epiphany
Wednesday, January 6, 2021Epiphany, also known as Theophany in the east, is a Christian feast day that celebrates the revelation of God incarnate as Jesus Christ. In Western Christianity, the feast commemorates principally the visit of the Magi to the Christ Child, and thus Jesus’ physical manifestation to the Gentiles.

@Sheba, Good evening to you and all!
Those deers are moving…. wow. That would have been a backyard scene when I was in HS in Wi.
We had lots of deer. Not sure if it is still like that. Does Poppy wear booties? I got in a short walk only. My Mom is trying to get back home and possibly we will bring in more care, if allowed. Covid does play a role so we shall see what we can do.
Your game points in a day are probably more than my lifetime points. Just a newbe, but it’s been fun. -
Hi sheba doing much better, almost finished the eye meds. They do look and feel healthy! Lil one was here tues and she is a bundle of joy&energy!! We had a son&daughter and remember times like these but still marvel at our grands, both boy&girl.
We do have another gchild on the way, early March? Trying to get ourselves ready to go care for our gson while our daughter and her husband have the new babe .Still going over all the health&safety protocols we would follow.Just like we do now but …think I will talk w/Dr about this so I can rest easier.I am the one with health issues so I am careful but want to be there for our daughter.Still have time to gather info🙏🤷♀️ staywarm&staysafe dd -
Oodiebom
I hope you got things straightened out with your appointments. Nothing is easy anymore. With things being so out of whack with covid, we have to be our own doctors, accountants, bankers, etc. Hang in there – it’s only the first week of the year!💖🌹

Good afternoon in Oz. Just finished a run to the store and laundry. Pretty exciting, huh? I’ll take this compared to a week ago. Husband’s appetite has been very good. He did some exercises this morning which I knew made him feel somewhat back to normal. Hopefully, it will stay this way and he will take a small step forward each day. I am so grateful right now – although I probably have ten ulcers in my stomach!😊😕
I would like to go see mom and sis this weekend. It will be 20 days since this all started so I should be safe. I will wear a mask and stay at least six feet away. If mom doesn’t have her hearing aids in, sis can take care of all the interpretations, lol!🤣
Have a relaxing evening with Poppy by your side, a cup of tea or hot chocolate to keep warm.☕💖

Getting Back to What You Love
Nothing can fill the emptiness that remains in a space vacated by a passion that we have tossed aside.
There are times in life when we are committed to pursuing our passions. Every molecule in our body is focused on doing what we love. At other times, necessity and responsibility dictate that we put our dreams aside and do what needs to be done. It is during these moments that we may choose to forget what it is that we love to do. There are many other reasons for why we may leave our passions behind. A hobby may lose its appeal once we’ve realize it will never turn into our dream job. Someone important to us may keep telling us that our passions are childish and unsuitable — until we finally believe them.
Forgetting about what you love to do can be a form of self-sabotage. If you can forget about your dreams, then you never have to risk failure. But just because we’ve decided to ignore our passions doesn’t mean they no longer exist. Nothing can fill the emptiness that remains in a space vacated by a passion that we have tossed aside. Besides, life is too short to stop doing what you love, and it is never too late to rediscover your favorite things. If you gave up playing an instrument, painting, drawing, spending time in nature, or any other activity or interest that you once loved to do, now may be the time to take up that passion again. If you don’t remember what it is that you used to be passionate about, you may want to think about the activities or interests that you used to love or the dreams that you always wished you could pursue.
You don’t have to neglect your responsibilities to pursue your passions, and you don’t have to neglect your commitments to do what you love. When you make an effort to incorporate your interests into your life, the fire within you ignites. You feel excited, inspired, and fed by the flames that are sparked by living your life with passion for what you love. AMEN! 😎
