Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Hi Sheba;
Oh, that Key Lime pie was just what was needed
Okay, we did it. We left the house at 6:15 to drive to Boca to a large park. Got there before seven. Home by 10. Not terrible. I had been awake since 1 am and got up at 3:30 so I could have coffee and relieve myself before leaving the house. Arm was a little sore and so worth it.
We go back on February 7th for second round. I am told I may not feel great after for a day or so.
Step one. Done. Shot in arm.How is everyone in your house. I briefly saw something about Bella the doggie and look for what is happening.
I hope you are all well. Cannot stop thinking of Kittengirl.
Tomorrow, I play gold in a Play for Pink tournament. Yes, I will be wearing my Heidi Breast Cancer Awareness Jewels. Instead of a luncheon; we will get boxed lunches. I hope to laugh a lot and not all of it at myself.
Ladies, stay safe, wear masks. I have no plans to venture anywhere this week. I don’t venture anywhere most of the time. A little tumultuous these days. Ari and Chloe will be in touch with Poppy and all the furbabies on this thread.

Just read about Belle. Have a feeling your daughter feels worse than the pooch. I think Belle will be fine. She is still a puppy and the legs should heal in no time. Keep me posted.
Also read about your SIL. Sounds like she has a mild case. Remember to tell her not to push herself on the good days. If there is anything I can do to help her and you through this, please do not hesitate to ask. Though both of us had Covid at the same time, I am now concerned with the new offshoot. Not sure if we have enough antibodies to counteract it. Also seems that wearing a mask is sometimes not helpful. Going to curtail the shopping at the market.

I had just signed into HSN, took a look at the Alerts and then went to your thread. I wrote a splurb, and then when I went to check on it, it was no where to be seen. Looked above and it asked me to sign in, which I did thinking that i would find my reply at the bottom of the page. No, it was no where to be seen. So here I sit to say Hi, once again.
I want to apologize for signing off the way I did. I have no recollection of ever being so exhausted. My usual habits have always been late to bed and early to rise. Guess, everything caught up with me. We did go marketing on Saturday. But, it was late in the day when we got started. Consequently, the shelves in Aldi’s were emptied. Their veggies looked bleak. But, we did find some things that were sorely needed like milk, eggs, and bread. Then we headed for the Farmer’s market. Traffic was with us as the hour was close to dinner time. The parking lot was full, but we managed to find a good spot. Traffic coming in was bumper to bumper in both directions. It was close to 6 pm. We finally made it to the Market. There was supposed to be a deal on strawberries, but instead there was a letter of apology stating that the price was higher because of the cold weather in Florida. However, the grapes looked good. They said it was the end of season. My hubby picked up two packages at $.99/lb. I did find Dragon Fruit and wished you were here or there was a way to send it to you. It’s sitting on my counter as I type. Another thing we needed was bread. Went to the bakery area and found something called Forest Seeded Rye. The entire bakery area is homemade from scratch by the Amish. I surmise they are in the bakery in the wee hours of the morning. Ok, I have to admit now that I love the NY breads, especially the water bagels and their rye. I tried the rye when we arrived home. My eyes lit up. It was the closest we have come to the NY Rye. So delicious. And we even have the pickles to go with it. But, unfortunately no corned beef. Guess the chicken salad will have to do.
Minus an awful backache, I do feel better. Weather is changing again. By Wednesday we will have the beginnings of a warmer trend with temps in the 70s, though the night will be a cool down to the low 50s. Today was cool and tonight mid 40s with clear skies.
No, I didn’t clean house or do any laundry over the weekend. Tomorrow is another day and if the back is good to go, will tackle the next thing. Take care of yourself. Dress warm and make sure Poppy is all set as well. Have a great walk, and stay safe.
Oh, before I forget. The shopping channel in Canada is similar to HSN. Some of our hosts go there occasionally to work as well as many of our vendors. I wouldn’t worry about the vendors giving up HSN unless it is to try another channel in the USA. I will say that some of their items are absolutely gorgeous. Quite different from what we are offered. Bad news, I don’t think we can purchase from them since our currency is different. If Josie reads this, she can check out that channel. They are on line.

Don’t You Worry ’bout a Thing
Stevie WonderEverybody’s got a thing
But some don’t know how to handle it
Always reachin’ out in vain
Just taking the things not worth having but
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing, mama
‘Cause I’ll be standing on the side
When you check it out
They say your style of life’s a drag
And that you must go other places
But just don’t you feel too bad
When you get fooled by smiling faces
But don’t you worry ’bout a thing
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing, mama
‘Cause I’ll be standing on the side
When you check it out
When you get it off your trip
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing
Mama, mama, mama
Mama, mama, mama
Mama, mama, mama
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing, mama
‘Cause I’ll be standing on the side
When you check it out
When you get it off your trip
Everybody needs a change
A chance to check out the new
But you’re the only one to see
The changes you take yourself through
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing, pretty mama
‘Cause I’ll be standing in the wings
When you check it out
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing (todo ‘stá bien chévere)
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing (todo ‘stá bien chévere)
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing (todo ‘stá bien chévere)
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing
Yeah
Don’t worry ’bout a thing
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing, mama
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing, sugar
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing, mama
You worry ’bout a thing, hey
Don’t worry, don’t worry, don’t worry
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing, sugar
Don’t you worry ’bout a thing -

Josey,
The smart deal last a little longer the the TS. I get the emails for her TS on HSN.

I hope you see this. 😘🌹💕I don’t want you to miss anything on HSN.

I agree with you on the Team I saw that look in his eyes and he really looked hurt.
I feel for his young wife and baby. They have a beautiful mansion a 20 minutes drive
from me. No I don’t live in a mansion just a really large house. 🤣Give Jake a nice OZ pet tonight. I am on the phone with family back and forth.
There is always something. I am so glad your husband is healing. My SIL have a lot
of family to lend a hand just not in the house. I tallked to her today and she sounds
really good but have said she has lack of smell and taste. I hope she gets that back.Cold night and I went for a long walk and watched the quarter moon tonight. 😎
Enjoy your evening. 😘 Hey I am a little bit concerned about Oodiebom. I hope she is just resting. 😘

Good evening to you. Our paper reported that the KC coach said Mahomes was doing fine, duh? Is he really going to tell Buffalo what’s going on? I guess we won’t know until game time next Sunday.
Husband is pretty good today, exercised and eating fine. I just read an article on people who have died across the country, some of them in the hospital or nursing homes, but many of them young and how they died quick or thought they were recovering and then got worse. I have to take my glasses off and throw all these papers and magazines in the trash because it is too scary. I must have asked my husband six times today how he was feeling, ugh!😫 Keep in touch with your SIL.
Oh my, I read your post on Bella, poor baby. Been there, done that. I had a Pointer who jumped off the deck (two steps) and broke his leg. He had a couple pins put in and was not allowed to go out without a leash. I have 1/2 acre fenced in and sloped upward. This was in the winter and he was not used to going out with a leash. God bless my mom, both of us were working at the time and she came every day to watch him. I was so afraid she would get hurt out in the snow with him but it worked out. To this day, my husband says I wouldn’t have bailed him out of jail as quick as I paid for two operations on the dog. Tell your daughter I fully get what she is going through.💛💜💗 Part of being a dog mom.
