Good afternoon, everything dry (as far as I know) in the house. It was one tiny pin hole that rust got through. Outside, we got about six inches of snow, enough to use the snow blower. It seems like as soon as all the snow melts, we get more this year. Last year we had almost nothing.🥶

Your bedroom sounds like the same setup as mine. Jake on his new bed on the floor by my side of the bed with a blanket covering all but his head – nice and cozy.💕 Husband is usually up before me so he feeds Jake and moves his bed so I can get out without killing myself.

Will probably go see mom and sis later in the week. Sis staying until the middle of March. Maybe by then Cali will be in better shape. One week from today, KC will be champs again, I hope.🏈🏆 Funny comic in our paper today. It shows a robot family sitting on the couch, calendar in the background dated February, 2164, and the TV saying “Welcome to Super Bowl CXCVIII and here comes Tom Brady!”🤣😂🤣

All’s well. They are sitting by the pool enjoying the sunshine. Wow, what a difference between the East and West coasts. It’s cold here. Just put the heat on. Temp tonight low 40s which to us feels like the 20s.

Working on husband’s closet. Will be washing the entire closet and then will use the Lysol on the woodwork. He uses shoeboxes for storage and now I’m laughing. He has no idea what is inside. Guess I will take those out and see what he is saving and then label the one’s he keeps. There are over 30 of these boxes. YIKES 😁😢 Me thinks I should go join Couz by the pool. He’s driving me to have a drink……..

Still waiting to hear from cousin in Florida. They arrived yesterday to their rental and husband had some issues. Not sure how things are. I sent three e-mails since I do not have a phone number. Hopefully, she will answer soon. Meanwhile, it is cloudy. There is no sun peeking through the clouds and, it is becoming colder. I may put the heat on to get rid of the chill. I will write more later. Very worried. Very concerned. I think making the trip in less than 24 hours was not a good idea.

Green showed on TV on Bejewel 💕😎 Heidi and Bill said some very nice things about the pieces
and the picture. I am just doing a throw back Monday.

Decorating Life

Just as we consciously create an environment within our homes, we can consciously choose to decorate life itself with our particular energy

There are few things more thrilling than having a new house or an empty room to decorate. Our imaginations soar as we consider the many possibilities. In the same way, our lives offer us the opportunity to express ourselves within various contexts, to ask ourselves questions about what we want to see as we move through our days and how we want things to flow. Some people do this instinctively, moving through the various environments they inhabit and shifting the energy with their presence. These people have a knack for decorating life. This can be as simple as the way they dress, the way they speak, or the fact that they always bring a bouquet of wildflowers when they come for a visit.

As we move through the world, we make a statement, whether we intend to or not. We shift the energy one way when we enter a room dressed elegantly and simply, and another when we show up in bright, cheerful colors and a floppy hat. One is not better than the other. It is simply a question of the mood we wish to create. What we wear is just one choice we can focus on. The way we speak to people, or touch them, shifts the energy more profoundly than almost anything else. The words we speak and the tone in which we say them are the music we choose to play in the world that is our home. Some of us fill the space with passionate arias, others with healing hymns. Again, one is not better than the other. We are all called to contribute.

Just as we consciously create an environment within our homes, we can consciously choose to decorate life itself with our particular energy. Ideally, in doing so, we express our deeper selves, so that the adornments we add to the world make it more meaningful, more beautiful, and as welcoming as a beloved home. 😎

I am talking pipes OZ is below freezing and I am checking everything. 🤣

I brought Poppy a new bigger warmer blanket my little boy sleeps really good.
I have hubby in the bed and Poppy is on the floor next to the bed. 🤣

Give Jake a nice OZ hug. I hope your mom and sister are doing well. Hey I could use
a trip to Hawaii I almost dropped my coffee cup reading what your mother said. 😘

Always keep that sense of humor. We need it now more than ever! 💕

Good Morning in S. California 😘💕I know where your heart is. Cleaning your mother’s
jewelry will bring on a wave. Take your time I am still in the Zone with my dad.

I don’t know how I did it Taci I guess I am stronger than I thought what was so sad
was only 2 of my brothers came and they were a god-sent. My brothers drove like
hail to get here and missed our father by 3 hours. No worries I was there and they covered
me from head to toe in PPE Gear. I was determined to see my father. I will leave it there.
