Good Evening I want you to know I got my pieces of jewelry today and I love everything.
I got the Pink Rose Quartz Ring and the Rose Quartz Earrings. I think I need to keep
them 24 hours before I write a review. I also brought a 2 Heidi Daus bracelets but one I
will not get until hopefully this weekend. Nice getting little things in the mail. 😘😘💕

Night time is passing so fast. Oodie one night if I am up late lets play a game in
the Arcade with you. I am not the best player but some games I a very good at. 🤣😎
If the time is right we can play in the day time just a 30 minutes game and see who
can play no I don’t care about scores I play for fun. 🤣

I am a newbie to the Arcades I only started a few years ago. I had to learn to play what
was interesting to me. I have almost three million tickets I should hit the 3 million mark
maybe next month.

I really missed you. Happy that everything is all right and everyone is safe. We were all concerned how you were with the storms giving you the one, two and three plus punches. That’s weather for New England. Not Texas. And, going out to get some snow for cooking sounds all to familiar to me. Both our homes in New England used to get power outages for days in the winter and also during the summer when people used the A/C. Even though we had enough food in the freezer to feed an army, during the winter we would pack it with snow. In the summer, a different story. It didn’t pay to drive to the nearest store to pick up 10 lbs or more of ice. So, we just let whatever thaw and cooked it on the gas grill. Hopefully, you are now back to normal and enjoying the warmth. Take care of yourselves. Stay safe. Glad you returned.

It’s a sunny day in Florida with temps in the mid 70s. Tomorrow begins the heat wave where it will be in the 80s with humidity and no rain in sight for awhile.

So far I am enjoying all the purchases from Connie’s line. Not one will be returned. I also purchased the rose quartz necklace which will probably be here next week. Since we have no place to go, I’ll play dress up in my work clothes and see if that doesn’t put a smile on our faces. Might as well enjoy them anyway I can.

Tomorrow I have a hair appointment. This is the only other thing I do besides marketing. It’s a new place for me since my person retired to another State, though she pops in from time to time. We made a dry run today and it’s actually very close to our home–five minutes with two traffic lights. Zoom……..Can’t have a foot to a pedal in Florida……..there are cameras at every traffic light…..no, I ‘m not kidding. Florida loves those pictures and the $$$.

I do not like the ice either. I’ve stepped down on our steps from the front door and literally skated down the next three and made it to the grass area. Sometimes I was lucky and was able to stand, other times landed on my rump. Not fun. So I understand where you are coming from. I do not miss the sleet or freezing rain. I do miss the cool temps, layering and watching the snow fall. It’s really nice to lie back and watch with a cup of hot chocolate in hand. But, I do not miss the shoveling, starting the car and driving through the mess only to find out when you get to the destination, everything is closed.

The Golden Rule

When we honor others by following the golden rule, we honor ourselves too.

All over the world, there exists a simple precept that, when followed, has the power to end conflict and banish strife. It is the Golden Rule, a key concept in many philosophies and spiritualities that admonishes us to “do unto others as we would have them do unto us.” Its meaning is clear: treat others only in ways that you would want to be treated. However, the golden rule is not always easy to follow. It can be a challenge to honor others as we wish to be honored. Yet, when we do so, we bestow a gift of loving kindness on our fellow human beings. And, in honoring others, we honor ourselves.

It is as uncomplicated a tenet as one could wish for. When we live by it, harming another person becomes nearly impossible. The Golden Rule is rooted in pure empathy and does not compel us to perform any specific act. Rather, it gently guides us to never let our actions toward others be out of harmony with our own desires. The Golden Rule asks us to be aware of the effect our words and actions may have on another person and to imagine ourselves in their place. It calls on us to ask ourselves how we would feel if what we were about to do were directed toward us. And yet this rule invites us to do more than not harm others. It suggests that we look for opportunities to behave toward others in the same ways that we would want others to act toward us. Showing compassion, being considerate of others, caring for the less fortunate, and giving generously are what can result when you follow the Golden Rule.

Adhering to the Golden Rule whenever possible can have a positive effect on the world around you because kindness begets kindness. In doing so, you generate a flow of positive energy that enfolds everyone you encounter in peace, goodwill, and harmony. 😎
