Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Just read your post and thank g-d you and Mom are OK. Had no idea that storms were in your area and I suppose further North. It has been a quiet week in Florida, at least on the Gulf Coast. Beautiful sunshine with low humidity and temps in the mid 80s. Next week there will be a cold front heading our way and our temps will have problems getting out of the 70s. Guess I better touch basis with our neighbors to see how things are in our neck of the woods.
The other reason why I’m sending a note is to find out if your hubby will be getting the booster shot for covid. I am reading all sorts of things on line and it seems if you had Covid, that it may not be necessary and will not help, in fact, it could lessen the antibodies that we already have. I am finding out that there is a blood test we can take to see if our antibodies are present. Here I was all set and now, today, more questions than answers.
Glad you and hubby are OK and Mom only had rain. Phew……that was a close call.

Good afternoon. Awoke to a beaut of a headache. Took sinus meds and later an Excedrin and it seemed to help. Left for Physical Therapy a little later than I planned and on top of that the directions they gave me though correct, left out one important item. The name above the door was not the name of the group, but the name of the business that was there prior. How many times I had to circle. The suite number should have stood out. That would have helped. We made it on t ime, but late for completing the forms. Not sure if I like this place and will do further research. Our physician contacted them, but not what I expected.
I will be in Trivia tonight and hope there is a game. Love the beach theme in xango’s post and the music. The ocean is so pretty at any time of year. Miss it. We still have the red tide. Hope all is well with you, Poppy and hubby.

Wow……What beautiful pictures and music. It made me feel better. I awoke this morning to a headache that felt like someone was pulling my hair. I couldn’t take the time to stay in bed and just prayed that I could drive hubby to his appointment. He had Physical Therapy this afternoon and since it was not within the 24hr. period just prayed I would get him there on time. Which I did.
Yes, I will be in Trivia. Not sure if there is a game, but at least we will have the conversation thread up and running. See you soon.

I think we were just talking about trees yesterday. Well, Oz visited the ‘burgh last evening as we had a couple of tornados come through.🌪🌪 One was right through my township one mile from my home. A couple homes had roofs torn off and trees down everywhere, 60-100mph wind. Unbelievably, I never lost power. The homes across the road and on the road above me lost electricity but my side never did. The NWS declared three – one south, one through my township and one about five miles away. I saw a lot of damage on my way to mom’s but her area just had rain. That’s all that has been on the news today. I must have done something good this week because the good Lord watched over us.😇
Boy do I need those beverages – after many, I will say how many!!🥴

Hello Sheba, how are you doing? Today is another sunny and hot daily in Florida. I know it’s very hard and it takes a toll on the body to be under such stress. I lost my mother and brother within a five month period. Today my cousin and I were talking about our mothers and I teared up talking about mine. All we can do is take one day at a time, live our life best we can. When I come across an interesting recipe I will share with you. Meanwhile take a look at these beautiful beaches. See in Trivia Sheba, can’t wait to see what you will be serving tonight.

Embracing Your Muse
Nearly all creative possibilities are related to the muses that inspire us.
Inspiration is an intangible yet inseparable part of the creative process. Nearly all creative possibilities are related to the muses that inspire us. The ancient Greeks believed that all creation, whether artistic or scientific in nature, was motivated by goddesses who served as the literal embodiment of inspiration. These were the Muses — the givers of the creative spark. We still rely on muses to drive the creative process, though ours may take a diverse range of forms. People we meet, intriguing ideas, movies, books, nature, and cultural ideals all have the potential to awaken our imaginative minds. When we are touched by our muses, we understand viscerally that we are capable of producing our own unique kind of greatness.
Many people move through life unaware of the presence of their muse. This lack of awareness can be compounded by the fact that we may have one muse that remains with us throughout our lives, multiple muses that inspire us concurrently, several muses that come and go as necessary, or a single muse that touches us briefly at specific moments. You will know that you have found your muse when you encounter a force that makes you feel courageous enough to broaden the range of your creativity. The presence of this force will erase your self-doubt and motivate you to give your thoughts and feelings form. Should your muse continue to elude you, however, there are steps you can take to increase your chances of falling under its inspired influence. If you surround yourself with people who support you, keep a pen and paper handy, immerse yourself in culture, and brainstorm frequently, you will soon reconnect with your muse.
Once you have identified your muse, embrace it by giving yourself over to the creative inspiration it provides. No matter what you are moved to create, you will find that neither fear nor criticism can penetrate the wonderful bliss that goes hand in hand with the act of taking an idea and turning it into something the whole world can enjoy. AMEN! ✨✨😎
