Hello, it was great to hear from you. I just read your post to Sheba. You had me laughing 😂. You have such a way with words.
We are getting back to normal here. I’d never thought I’d say this but I am so happy to be able to do laundry again. My first hot shower and shampoo felt heavenly.
I can’t imagine your two plus weeks of snow and ice. I have a healthy respect for you, Sheba and Oodiebom, where this is part of your winter.
Jewel didn’t seem to mind walking through the snow to find her spot. Little D wanted no part of it. I’d carry him out, set him down and he quickly did his business and I picked him up again.
They did tell me that they would like to talk to Jake and ask him for some of his survival tips!

TGIF and things are looking so much better in our little piece of the world. Many thanks for playing my song😘. I haven’t heard Shadow Dancing in awhile—always a treat.
We ran errands most of the day yesterday and stopped at 2 grocery stores to restock our pantry. So thankful we were able to get water. There is currently a limit on items, such as milk, water, bread and meats. We were able to find my almond milk and water. Our freezer has meat so we are ok there.
Today, I’ve been working on my greenhouse plants. I’ve lost a lot and I’ll cut the others back and see if they survive. Same with shrubs. I have a greenhouse heater and during our “normal “ winter temps, all would survive.
My birds are happy and have returned to the feeder and bird bath. I’m so excited to see robin red breasts in the yard. I haven’t had those before. The cardinals are really pretty right now.
Jewel and Little D are glad to hear stories again about their friends Poppy and Jake.
Sheba, enjoy your Friday night trivia. I’m looking forward to a nice bath and settling in with a good book. 🌹❤️

It’s been a couple busy days with tasks and projects. I will try to wind down some this evening. Because of the angle of the sun, my front and back yards look like two different worlds. All the snow except for around the driveway from shovel/snow blower piles is gone. Backyard looks like Alaska in January. A few of the paths Jake made show some ground but he is still crunching and sliding around. I need a whole week of 50+ for the back to melt. I just read this morning about Gaga and her dogs. With that kind of reward, she loves her fur babies as much as we love ours.🐕💕🐕

I will check out the moon tonight. Between that and the white snow, I could have a Broadway show outside. Jake will think it’s morning before he goes to bed, lol! Hugs to you and Poppy.((💗))

@Sheba, the Moon at sunset look so clear yesterday. Didn’t know it was called a Snow Moon. Now I know thanks to you! There is one big problem with Brownie Brittle… Shoelady already knows this one… I want to eat more of it than I should! So Good.
Hope Lent is going well for you.
I will be dealing with my Mothers estate for some time. Today I spent about 2 hours on banking business. My Mother did a lot in advance but still this will be ongoing. Once the financial aspect slows down I will be pursuing Medical Malpractice aspects if the parties have not been reported already.

Hair is done and it feels good. Went to a new salon since the person I have been using decided to semi retire and move out of state. She did an OK hair cut. I do not like the long in back short on sides look. My fault for not mentioning it. However, we can take care of that at the next visit.

Tonight is Trivia. I have no idea what I’ll be doing. Like you, an idea starts just before posting. Just hope there are no computer glitches. Last week the computer was throwing things at me. So far so good today. See you in a few. Enjoy the moon with Poppy.

Freeing Our Inner Desires

Our best chance of getting what we need is to communicate by converting our inner voice to our outside voice.

Each of us has developed an internal filtering process that helps us choose which parts of our constant inner monologues get voiced outside of our heads. Sometimes the choice is based on what we consider to be polite or appropriate, using subtlety instead of directness to try to get our point across. Other times the choice is made based on our expectations of the other person and what we feel they should know about us, our feelings, and our needs. But our best chance of getting what we need is to communicate specifically by converting our inner voice to our outside voice.

This may seem unnecessary sometimes, especially when we think the other person has the same information we ourselves are working with, but we have to remember they also have their own inner voice, evaluating what they hear in light of their own issues and needs. With so much to consider and sift through, we are truly better off if we communicate precisely. Not only does doing this minimize the chance for misinterpretation, but voicing our thoughts it is an act of creation. We convert thought and imagination to sound, releasing it from the chamber of our minds into the outside world. This carries energy and intention with it, making our thoughts, wishes, and even dreams come true.

When we have the courage to speak our minds and use our voice to send the desires of our hearts from our inner world to the world outside, we take a bold step in making them happen. By removing fear of what others may think and expectation of what others should understand, we free ourselves and our thoughts from the bondage of the mental chamber and let loose our desires onto the canvas of the world. Next time we become aware that we have a choice about how to communicate, we can choose to use our outside voice and watch its creative power at work. 😎

How is Jake the snow may be gone but I hope he have an easier time getting out and about.
In the morning I let Poppy out in the backyard and he is trained to go behind his tree. 🤣😎

The rest of the time he is running with his playmate along the fence who is Nora a beautiful
Huskey dog. Did you hear what happened to Lady Gaga fur babies. OMG! Gaga is offering
half a million for their safe return. I keep my eye on Poppy. 💕

Howdy in Texas that is my special greetings to you. I know you have a month and then
some in your world. I would just take it easy this weekend. I had frozen pipes but they
are fine now so I know how cold it was. Oz got hit and the power company turned off
all power to everyone’s homes to conserve energy use. I am scared to look at our
bill next month. 😎

Enjoy Jewell and Little D I have missed them. 🤣😎💕I am going to play with some friends
of Poppy in the backyard that would be his girlfriend Nora and her sister. 😎

Taci are still working on your mother’s Estate? I know daunting task.

I would go for a nice Hike later today. I do Pilates as well as the long walks. I do
enjoy walking especially if the sun or moon is out. We have a great Moon coming
tomorrow night. 😎I will have a front row seat as I will be walking with Poppy. 😘

The full “snow moon” of February 2021 will be glowing in the night sky this weekend, officially reaching its fullest phase at 3:17 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27. The moon will be 99% full Friday night, 100% full Saturday night and 98% full Sunday night, so sky watchers will have a few good opportunities to see it.
