Last night during Trivia we were discussing how people can obtain all you information which could include credit cards, health insurance, social security number, where you are employed, your address and phone number, children’s names, etc.. One of our players had that happen. When you are in line for a checking out process you need to be aware of those around you. Look to the sides, behind you and in front. There are people out there who carry a gizmo that is able to collect the numbers on a credit card both front and back. Some also carry insurance cards in case they aren’t feeling well. Older folks may have their medicare number, etc.. I wrap my cc in aluminum foil and also do the same with car keys. The number on your car key can be easily swiped thus making it easy for someone to start the motor and run off with your possession. I also use RFID wallets and other things that have this. For shredding purposes I use a micro cut shredder because it is cut small and is difficult to put together. Cross cut does not make me feel safe. I keep bills for a short period of time and then shred. If I have questions the statements can be seen when needed. I also joined scambusters on line. They send a newsletter once or twice per week with the latest developments and things that work and don’t work. It’s a free service and you can access them by typing: http://www.scambusters.org

But, the scariest thing for me is the gas station. People can access info while sitting in their car. You have no way to catch them in the act. The other way is when the station is closed, they can access the pump with a chip and thus able to obtain many numbers. Managers are supposed to check, but do they????

With so many people unemployed because of the pandemic we all need to keep a watchful eye. If you have any other ideas to help, please do not hesitate to post.

No plans today. Did a lot yesterday so I am a little tired and just want to go through the day at my pace. Dreary but temps are in the 50’s so more snow melt. Good to see some green for a change. Making some chili for dinner and will relax tonight watching some hockey and golf with hubs and Jake. You and Poppy enjoy your stroll tonight in the moonlight.🚶‍♀️🐕🚶‍♂️

Jake’s winter survival tips for Jewell and Little D – Move permanently to Hawaii.

If #1 is not possible – Hold everything in as long as possible to avoid repetition. Try to keep all four appendages on level ground so as not to pull any muscles from slipping and sliding on hills and ice. It’s winter, things are not fragrant, so sniffing around is not needed and your nose will get cold. If you are small (like Poppy) and have consecutive snow storms with below freezing temps, just go on the deck or patio. If you step off, you may never be found.

And finally, move to Hawaii!!!!!

Good day in the ‘burgh. 😘💕Any plans today? I have some running to do. I also
plan to take a nice long walk in the moonlight I think hubby will join me. 😘💕
I miss our kids they are all safe and working from home this has got to be hard for
them being in the twenties. We FaceTime everyday. 💕😘

Golf season will be soon I love hearing about your niece. 💕How is Jake doing so far?
The snow has melted in the backyard but Poppy and his playmates have fun just
running the fence line. 🤣 Sending warm pets to Jake. 😘

Good afternoon in Florida Trivia was fun last night. 😎💕I have security on the mind
right now based on the conversations we all had. I think it is creepy the way people just
take your information and do what they will. Annoying!

Oodie I did copy and paste the info you wrote because I had a problem going back
to the thread and parts of it was missing do you remember? So better to have the info
in case there is a glitch in the system. I put it in my Notes. 💕 Here is to a good day
we have Sun in OZ. I try not to give too much info since people are always searching and
they do look. I never put my children names or pics out because they asked me not
to people all kinds of things with things like that. So I am just being careful. Oodie you
have a lot of curious and evil people out there. Sheesh!!
