Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Flower, when you’re ready to go, let me know and Jake and I will join you. My sister lived there for ten years and would go back there in a minute.🌴🌅🌞🌊

@sheba2011
Howdy Sheba.
Happy March to you and Poppy. I liked today’s March gallery. This is one of my favorite months because we begin to have milder weather here and spring and gardening are just around the corner. 🌻🌸
I have the house to myself for a few days as Hubby went to the property to check on the water well/pipes etc. and the cabin to make sure there are no surprises from the recent ice/snow storm. I decided to stay home with the munchkins. He has to be back by Wednesday as we finally have appointments for our vaccines in the afternoon.
I’m going to spread out my beads and have some fun making some jewelry. I haven’t done that in awhile.
I bet you and Poppy enjoyed today’s sunshine. Jewel and Little D are next to me. When I’m by myself, they always have me within their sight.
We all send hugs and well wishes for a peaceful evening. ❤️😘 -
Good afternoon to you. As good as the hockey team was on Saturday, they were that bad yesterday. Hard to believe it’s the same team, oh well. Our governor announced today 15% capacity for indoor events and 20% for outdoor so that means hockey games will have a few spectators starting tomorrow for the first time in a year.
I finally was able to schedule my first vaccine today. I will be going on Wednesday morning. At least it is here in the ‘burgh and about 20 minutes from home. So many people have been going to Ohio and driving a couple hours in all directions because of supply and how our state is handling sign ups. Since my husband had the virus, his PCP said to wait at least until April.
Today I am making a pork tenderloin and asparagus for dinner. Easy cooking and easy clean up. Enjoy your salmon. Jake and I sending full moon hugs and kisses.🥰💖

Hello Shoelady
You had me at—-move to Hawaii, LOL. That started me chuckling and it only got better as I continued to read “Jakes” survival tips. Jewel and Little D are team players and would be willing to exchange their doggie coats for beach towels and a beach umbrella, (Mommy too), during the cold weather.
Now that we are in March, I’m looking forward to spring and being able to be outdoors again.
Give wise Jake an extra hug today from the 3 of us, Jewel, Little D and me. -
Completion
The period of completion, rather than being just an act of finality, is also one of transition.
Life is a collage of beginnings and endings that run together like still-wet paint. Yet before we can begin any new phase in life, we must sometimes first achieve closure to the current stage we are in. That’s because many of life’s experiences call for closure. Often, we cannot see the significance of an event or importance of a lesson until we have reached closure. Or, we may have completed a certain phase in life or path of learning and want to honor that ending. It is this sense of completion that frees us to open the door to new beginnings. Closure serves to tie up or sever loose ends, quiets the mind even when questions have been left unanswered, signifies the end of an experience, and acknowledges that a change has taken place.
The period of completion, rather than being just an act of finality, is also one of transition. When we seek closure, what we really want is an understanding of what has happened and an opportunity to derive what lessons we can from an experience. Without closure, there is no resolution and we are left to grieve, relive old memories to the point of frustration, or remain forever connected to people from our past. A sense of completion regarding a situation may also result when we accept that we have done our best. If you can’t officially achieve closure with someone, you can create completion by participating in a closure ritual. Write a farewell letter to that person and then burn your note during a ceremony. This ritual allows you to consciously honor and appreciate what has taken place between you and release the experience so you can move forward.
Closure can help you let go of feelings of anger or uncertainty regarding your past even as you honor your experience — whether good or bad — as a necessary step on your life’s path. Closure allows you to emotionally lay to rest issues and feelings that may be weighing down your spirit. When you create closure, you affirm that you have done what was needed, are wiser because of your experience, and are ready for whatever life wants to bring you next.
