Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Sunrise, Sunset lyrics
(tevye)
is this the little girl i carried,
is this the little boy at play?(golde)
i don’t remember growing older,
when did they?(tevye)
when did she get to be a beauty,
when did he grow to be so tall?(golde)
wasn’t it yesterday when they were small?(men)
sunrise, sunset
swiftly flow the days.(women)
seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers,
blossoming even as we gaze.(everyone)
sunrise, sunset
swiftly fly the years,
one season following another,
laiden with happiness and tears.(tevye)
what words of wisdom can i give them,
how can i help to ease their way?(golde)
now they must learn from one another,
day by day.(perchik)
they look so natural together.(hodel)
just like two newlyweds should be.(perchik and hodel)
is there a canopy in store for me?(everyone)
sunrise, sunset
swiftly fly the years,
one season following another,
laiden with happiness,
and tears -

@Sheba, I did notice the salty sea air No worries on the baby rattler, they scoot off easily. We worry they will get run over by the bikers. I will happily tune into Heidi Daus tonight for some lovely jewelry and fun! See ya there.

Hi. No, not sick, just took time off to celebrate our anniversary. Didn’t do much because of the pandemic. We will make up for it as soon as everything settles and we feel safe. Still trying to set up an appointment for the vaccines. Guess I try too late or too early. Tomorrow we take the van in for our regular oil change and to see if there are any underlying problems. I will write more later since hubby wants to use the computer. The new computer is still in the box. YUK……

Hi there in Oz.😊 Most of this week our temps are going up, up to around 70 then falling again for the weekend in the 40’s. You’re right, our winter is not quite done yet. But my husband did drain the snow blower and took the shovel off the deck. I remember many years ago we got two feet of snow on St. Patrick’s day so who knows.🥶
I am planning on starting some painting of trim this week. Nothing that has to be done by a certain time but I figured I may as well start before sis leaves since I won’t have as much time running with mom. A friend was supposed to do it but haven’t heard from him so he must be busy. Always some project in the works.
Not feeling all that great today so having a small dinner and relax with the TV and a cup of tea tonight. Jake sending Poppy some spring flowers to sniff.🌺💐🌻🌷

Detoxing Your Body
No matter how healthy our habits , our bodies move with the cycles of life, so our cells need to fall like leaves from the trees before they can be renewed.
When you want to start with a clean slate in life, one way is to cleanse your body. Detoxifying can be done in many ways and for many reasons, depending on your specific goals. You may feel a physical need for cleansing, or a spiritual one where you would cleanse the areas of the body that correspond to your current life challenges. If you feel, for instance, that your inner self is not shining through as you would like, you may want to do a bathing detox to clean the skin of impurities so that you can radiate your inner health like a newly washed stained-glass window that lets the light shine through more brilliantly.
No matter how healthy and conscious our habits are, our bodies move with the cycles of life, which means that our cells sometimes need to fall like leaves from the trees before they can regenerate and be renewed. Just as we need to wash our bodies to remove the buildup of natural processes and contact with the world around us, we need to clean our bodies from the inside as well. So you may want to detoxify your blood or digestive system, or target specific buildup such as plaque or metals. Our bodies are the vessels that allow us to move through life, but we can treat them like wild gardens that need our attention to reach their full potential of beauty and balance in their ecosystem.
The first days of a detoxification process may bring to mind an image of the dust that gets stirred up during spring cleaning. You may feel a little worse before you feel better, but that may indeed be the universe’s way of showing us the benefits by contrast. We live in a world of dualities, so we may need to experience both sides of a situation in order to find our perfect balance. Once the impurities have been cleansed, you could experience a sense of lightness or clarity of vision and purpose. You will know it worked when you feel enhanced ease as you move through the world toward your goals.
