Thank you for saying hello on our anniversary. We celebrated 50 years on the 6th. Doesn’t seem possible. Please join everyone for dessert. Sheba is a great baker. I know you don’t feel that well, so take some foil and bring it home and eat when you are up to it. There are no calories……LOL

This was the milestone anniversary. 50 years and still counting. Not sure what we would be doing on this occasion if we didn’t have the pandemic, suffice to say probably a cruise. If things are OK, we are looking at Bali and Hawaii or maybe both for next year. I just hope that both of us will be in good health. And right now, I do not see why not. The cards are lovely and I didn’t remind you on purpose until after the fact. And the cake, non fattening…..LOL. You hit the right songs on our wedding day. “Sunrise, Sunset” was the father and daughter dance. Our dance was to “I Never Knew A Day I Didn’t Love You,” from “Two By Two,” which we saw prior to Broadway on the night of our engagement. I would have given anything that night to meet Danny Kaye. Well, those days are now gone.

I finally found a comforter in a light teal and linens even lighter. When put together it should look like the Caribbean we love so much. I found many with flowers, beach designs (seashells, starfish, etc.) and those with blue and tan stripes going diagonal mimicking the ocean. Even saw some that had palm trees. However, hubby enjoys things that are plain and simple and so I kept it that way. I guess, our wall art will offset it. I also had to be sure that the surface had no overlaps or things that dangle since he has a habit of having his toes play with the areas and eventually it rips. The comforter has a satin/sateen finish. It will also brighten the room. And, yes, we have brand new pillows in another room to use.

We have also made a decision to remain here until we get the vaccine and will not rush home until we are absolutely sure that we will be safe. We have also made a decision to spend two or three nights in Pa and then head to our home from there. The drive from there is gorgeous and it seems that in no time we are putting the key into the door. I have a feeling we are looking at May. I will return in June/July for the mam and hopefully everything will be OK.

Well, will be going. Heidi is on in a few minutes and I already bought the TSV in rose and green.
Glad that they have free shipping on these. Will write more when we get home. Have to be up really early. The ride to the service area is over an hour and I suspect there will be bumper to bumper traffic on the interstate since there is tons of construction. I know I’ll be missing Heidi, but I promised Hubby that I would go. I’m his GPS. Turn him around two times he has no idea where he is. Go figure.

happened to me in the last year I think I forgot. I know I should have remembered.
