Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please

I am glad you are feeling better. I understand about the unplugging things I always
get off my computer and shut it down during a bad storm. I don’t have to do anything
else. I just get in the bed under the covers. 🤣It’s not funny I had to walk to work one
day and the thunder was hitting the concrete. I don’t want to go through that ever again. -

Back is much better today. Should be fine until the next storm/humidity hits. I usually unplug everything because we get streaks of lightning that come from the clouds and go straight down. The one I felt yesterday was between my home and the one to the right of us. The thunderstorms in Florida are quite different from those in the Northeast. In the Northeast I just unplug the computer and that is because the plug area was hit by lightning, not once, but twice. My computer had a fire on the inside. Now, when I’m on the Cape, we were told to not only unplug the computer, but all appliances because if lightning strikes it could last two or three days within the outlets. That home, as well, I do not do anything more than the computer. But Florida is really different. There are no mountains or hills here. Everything is flat. The clouds are usually quite low, so you feel as if you could reach up and touch them. I surmise that is why the storms are fierce here. They are closer to the ground.
Yes, the taxes have been extended to May 17th.
