We went to Costco and Detwiler’s. I needed olive oil and that was seen as you entered the warehouse. I really wanted the cold olive oil which surprisingly, they no longer carry. And believe it or not, I wasn’t the only one asking for it. However, as you know they don’t always listen to their customers. And yes, there was absolutely no one in the warehouse without a mask.

Detwiler’s is our Farmer’s Market. Yes, they had dragon fruit and I picked up 2. They also had honeydew melon for $1.99 and not by the pound. I will use some in my winter melon soup. Also they still had pluots. This was definitely a good surprise. Someone mentioned last night that they love the Baby Bels. Well, they had them, but they were frost bitten and didn’t look that good. Consequently, I didn’t purchase any. And speaking of Trivia. Most seem to be happy just to sit around and talk. And, this is what I like to see. I think one or two were put off. So far, there hasn’t been a real answer to my post with the Mods. During the week I will try to find out if there is a game.

Now, I am really tired and on top of it all I must have eaten something I should not have. Don’t worry, Pepto and me are real good friends. Talk to you tomorrow. Take care. Stay safe.

We were totally shocked yesterday at Aldi’s. Big notice on the door that you cannot miss that masks were required and yet quite a few circumvented the request. Surprise that management didn’t say anything. Watched a few go through checkout without batting an eye. Just because you had the vaccine does not mean you shouldn’t follow the rules of the store. Besides, when you think about it, do they carry proof that the actually had the vaccine. Hubby and I have been on a list for weeks, well at least we thought we were. Decided to check a few days ago and our name was no where to be found. So, this time I completed another form and when completed, received a number. Johnson and Johnson is being given in Orlando and Miami, there are none around here. We asked for the Moderna vaccine, which no one in our area seems to have. More vaccines were supposed to be delivered this week, none arrived. Luckily, both of us are patient people. We will see what happens in the next couple of weeks.

Hi Oodie – I read your comment yesterday about your trip to Aldi’s, ugh.😣 My husband is watching a golf tournament in Florida and almost all the people are wearing masks, albeit a few who are getting caught on TV, but they are standing shoulder to shoulder on every hole. Is this the way it is all over Florida? I know some golf tournaments in other states have no spectators or just a minute number spaced apart. Between all this and the spring breakers, I’ll be anxious to hear if your virus numbers go up. Hard to believe all these people are vaccinated. You and hubby stay safe!!!🥰

Spring is in the air in the ‘burgh. Beautiful sunny day, a little chill, but 60’s and up starting tomorrow.🌞 My husband put a few screens in so we can get some fresh air throughout the house. Mom didn’t sleep well last night.😴 I got to her house around 10:30 and she never got up until 11:45. I wished her a good afternoon!😄 Hubs is meeting his friend at the driving range tomorrow to loosen up – golf starts next month.⛳ We are on our way into the season!👍 Hugs back to you and Poppy.🥰🤗
