Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

All good luck tomorrow.👍 Oodie, don’t give up. Why don’t you check with them tomorrow to see if they had any no-shows or got extra vaccines. I just heard yesterday that a couple of our pharmacies were making announcements and asking people walking in if they needed a shot because they got more than the appointments made. And if your husband’s time is later in the day, they should know what they have left and needs to be used up.🤞

Howdy Sheba.😘
Well, it’s goodbye cool weather and hello summer in our neck of the woods. I wish those cool days weren’t over so soon 😎.
I can’t believe how quickly this week has passed and I was at home! We gave the dogs their vacay baths yesterday. They sunned themselves afterward and were dry in no time. They were so ready to come into the cool house.
I had my hair appointment this morning….summer highlights check, haircut check. I’m good to go now.
Sister and I decided to go a few days early and will leave on Tuesday, 4/13. Hubby wasn’t able to leave until 4/15 and suggested we go a few days early and open up the house and have some sister time. That was a good idea and we decided to do just that. I called my Jewelry store friend now that we have a travel date, and she is thrilled we are coming. I am looking forward to seeing her and her new goodies.
I started selecting my clothes and it’s difficult to even think about packing warm clothes for 60 degree days and low 40’s at night when I am already wearing summer clothes and running the A/C.
I know this is your trivia night, so just wanted to drop in and say hello.
Jewel, Little D and I will send some of our warm weather and sunny blues skies to you and Poppy.

Good late afternoon to you. Yep, mom Friday.👩❤️👩 Took her to the grocery store and hair salon. Back at her house I went through her four piles of mail and took care of some banking. She bought dinner for all three of us at the grocery store so no cooking today, yay!😊🍝
Jake’s labs were fine, got the okay for all the flea, tick and heartworm meds. What a relief!🥰 I also got some antibiotics for a skin condition which I think may be an allergy. We shall see how that works. My boy is an olympic champ with meds, just add a little bit of peanut butter on top.
I will relax tonight and watch the hockey game.🏒🍸 We won last night so hope it continues. Enjoy your evening. Jake told Poppy he is so glad mom has calmed down.😵

Planting the Seeds of Generosity
One way to practice generosity is to give energy where it is needed, whether that is in the form of time, money or love.
The most difficult time to be generous is when we ourselves are feeling poor. While some of us have experienced actually being in the red financially, there are those of us who would feel broke even if we had a million dollars in the bank. Either way, as the old adage goes, it is always in giving that we receive. Meaning that when we are living in a state of lack, the very gesture we may least want to give is the very act that could help us create the abundance that we seek. One way to practice generosity is to give energy where it is needed. Giving money to a cause or person in need is one way to give energy. Giving attention, love, or a smile to another person are other acts of giving that we can offer. After all, there are people all over the world that are hungry for love.
Sometimes when we practice generosity, we practice it conditionally. We might be expecting to “receive back” from the person to whom we gave. We might even become angry or resentful if that person doesn’t reciprocate. However, trust in the natural flow of energy, and you will find yourself practicing generosity with no strings attached. This is the purest form of giving. Remember that what you send out will always come back you. Selflessly help a friend in need without expecting them to return the same favor in the same way, and know that you, too, will receive that support from the universe when you need it. Besides, while giving conditionally creates stress (because we are waiting with an invisible balance sheet to receive our due), giving unconditionally creates and generates abundance. We give freely, because we trust that there is always an unlimited supply.
Being aware of how much we are always supported by the universe is one of the keys to abundance and generosity. Consciously remember the times you’ve received support from expected and unexpected sources. Remember anyone who has helped you when you’ve needed it most, and bless all situations that come into your life for the lessons and gifts they bring you. Remember that all things given and received emanate from generosity. Giving is an act of gratitude. Plant the seeds of generosity through your acts of giving, and you will grow the fruits of abundance for yourself and those around you. 😎😘
