Initially, my mom, who will be 91 in two weeks, was not getting the shot. She is one of those old school or whatever you call it against it. She has never had a flu shot or pneumonia shot. But she loves to go on trips. In fact, her and my sister cancelled a cruise last March one week before everything shut down. I told her a couple weeks ago that two cruises were starting out of the Bahamas and St. Maarten in June and all crew and passengers had to show proof of the vaccine. Her answer: well, I guess I’ll have to get it. Unbelievable! She is waiting until my sister gets back to try and schedule something.

Shoelady, We are just like you and your hubby. I got the Pfizer at one location and my husband got Moderna at a different location ( just a few miles apart) from our same provider. I was glad to get it from my medical provider, just in case of any issues. Once we were told 50 and over, I was checking Wallmart’s sites, Good RX, and my medical provider. Then, decided to only go to my Provider. They were booked out, but I just checked back daily and luckily found an opening.

You must miss your sister already, Glad she can get her Vaccine before returning to PA.

Was your Mother able to be vaccinated by now? Hopefully that was a while back for her.

@Sheba, glad you and hubby are on the list. The CDC website on Covid has been helpful clarifying the different vaccines and all.
The Shawl you have has wool in it I think so will keep you warm, and the lace is so pretty.
Watching some Zoo shows this morning and hope to walk or hike with hubby soon.
I have some choco nuvo left but if this is it for a few months I will order, otherwise, i prefer to wait.

Taci, hope you are feeling fine after your shot. I don’t remember which one you said you got but I had the Pfizer. Didn’t even know I had the first one and my arm hurt for about a day and a half after the second. I’ve had worse flu shots. My husband gets his second of the Moderna on the 21st and my sister is getting the J&J in Anaheim on Monday. So we will have a sampling of them all. I guess all the guys were too macho to move their arms, geez Louise!!😄

Hi Ms. Sheba! Beautiful day in the ‘burgh. In fact, the last week we have been living in August.🌞 Hit a record temp two days ago. Back into the 60’s next week. Jake will like that, he’s already been panting and laying in the hall instead of his bed. I did not turn the AC on yet.

Taking it easy today since I ran around yesterday. Any work I can do sitting down will be fine with me. I may shred some old papers. Decided to order a new spring/summer handbag, like I need another one.👜 I can’t even remember what is in my closet, it’s a surprise every time I open the door.😮

Hope you got those darn taxes finished.🤑 That comes around way too quickly every year. Love the afternoon treats you sent – some of my favorites!💝

Our boys are just like young kids you do worry about them. Poppy goes for grooming
and a check up next weekend. I hate just dropping him off and I can’t go in with him.
Oh well at least he is being taken care of and he will so much better. 😘💕

I am so glad you, mom and hubby had a good day. I love Mom Friday. I can’t wait to see
my mother I will take her wherever she wants to go. 😘💕Just have to get the Covid-19

Howdy in Texas. I see you have your hands full too. 😎I think it is an excellent idea
for you and your sister to go down a few days early and open up the house. I like
the fact you can have some sister time too. 💕🌹 I have very dark hair hence my Avatar
and I have been doing a rinse to give it shine and bounce. 😎

I am on a list for the Covid Vaccine and I don’t want anyone in my face just yet.

Good Morning in S. California. How are you feeling? Taci I have the deep brown and it
came with a black bag with the Cleaver Carriage brown tag. 😘

Taci I am going to post some specials with Andrew Lessman and I will asked that
question about the Choco Nuvo I still have some left from the last time I ordered.
I do know when it is warm Andrew does not produced these due to the heat.
