Sheba, Oh sorry if I was confusing. I did not get any Heidi Daus jewelry, no more until I go through all of my Mothers jewelry items.
We all seem to be doing well post vaccine. I never knew so much about masks and vaccines until now. In the past, I have had a lot of vaccines and never asked any questions or had any problems. They were just offered up and I took them. Some of those vaccines may have had the possibility of worse side effects than the Covid one. I will be nervous at the end of the month for the 2nd shot. Have you made any decisions yet?

Keep smiling but it is my father’s birthday my mom birthday is in June. 💕🌹😘
I will still celebrate my dad as this is the first birthday since he passed which was
only three days after mine.

I am fine I just have some sinus problems from being outdoors. I will solve that

Good afternoon, it’s been a busy weekend in the ‘burgh for me. Running here and there for various projects. Nice day today but back and forth during the week. Husband’s golf league starts next Sunday so you can be sure it will either rain or be cold. Happens every year.

Baking a meatloaf today for dinner, one of my husband’s favorites. That’s a two day dinner for us so no cooking tomorrow.

Mom’s birthday is the 27th. She hasn’t decided yet where she wants to have dinner, will have to wait to see where her taste buds lead. She never uses her crockpot because it’s too heavy. I have a West Bend which is two pieces, a pot and a griddle it sits on. You can use the pot on the stove or in the oven and the griddle for frying. The pot is very light so I got her one for her birthday so it will be easier for her to cook more things. At 91, the easier the better!!

Stay warm this week, I guess it will be heading our way. ❄🌧

Thank goodness this was the week that is now in the past. I have had one bout after another with hives, swollen gums, big lips, etc.etc.. I think part of this was the vaccine, yet, I did eat some things I shouldn’t have. Sulfites, sulfites and sulfites. Aldi’s is great, but just because the label previously was OK, I need to remember to still check because invariably there are items added that I cannot eat. Suffice to say, I’m OK now.

Weather wise, we are warm and very humid. Rain event starting either late afternoon or tonight through Wednesday. I’m not sure if we will be getting a cold front, but the weather does not sound good. I read on line where Colorado will be getting some additional snow and cold temps. That is supposed to head towards you and the northeast. Please look at the weather beyond the weekend so the plants have a chance to grow and root in garden soil. Seems this is similar to last year. Temps today are in the low 80s. I assume it will go higher as the day progresses. As far as I can tell, we will not be getting the cold front, though the panhandle may.

We need to do some marketing. Now we start watching what we purchase since we may be heading North towards the end of May. We unplug everything except the refrig. We set the humidifier before we close the door. Antifreeze in all things that contain water. No, not for freezing weather, but rather so we do not get a few univited guests and surprises upon our return.

Hope you are feeling better. Have a nice walk with Poppy, but don’t over do it. Stay safe.
