“Raindrops keep falling on my head” today and all day.🌧☂ Warm but dreary day, nicer for the weekend. Mom got her first vaccine so hope she is feeling alright tomorrow.🥰 Of course I will check in. Did much of nothing today except run to the grocery store.

Hockey game tonight,🏒 getting near the end of the regular shortened season. We should make the playoffs but they have been horrible last couple years losing in the first round.😝 Hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💕

Please take your time and be careful driving back to Texas. Crazy weather all over the US. Jake is just like Jewel when it comes to storms. We had rain last night and all day today. He is finally calming down and the panting is slowing down. My husband and I schedule our lives around the weather forecasts so one of us can be home with Jake if storms are predicted.😟💗

Good idea about leaving the wallet at home. I’m assuming all layaway plans are also off the table? Go for it, life is short.💍💎👍

Hope you are feeling okay today. My arm also hurt more from the second shot and I was tired the day after. That was from the Pfizer. My husband had Moderna and he was tired and had the chills the day after but was good the following day. You have a lot going on so try to take it easy.🙌

Howdy Sheba, just a quick hello 🤗❤️
We are on hold with our travel day until the storms and unsettling weather in Texas clears up some. Hubby drove through heavy rains and some hail on his trip up here and ended out with some nasty dings. My Jewel is terrified of storms and even more so when traveling and hail hits the vehicle.
The weather is cold today with a dusting during the night. We are thankful for any moisture we can get here right now.
I’ll go by and see my Friend tomorrow but will leave my purse at home, 😂😂.
You and Poppy have a good evening and stay warm.

Acting as a Guardian

To act as a guardian to somebody during a difficult time is a most beautiful gift of support.

One of the greatest gifts we can give another human being is to act as their guardian. Whether this gift is related to a specific situation or is representative of an ongoing commitment, we each benefit from the association. To protect someone is to walk with them in challenging times and see them through safely to the other side. In doing this, we grow with them. And those under our guardianship derive confidence from our support and assistance, enabling them to persevere through almost any conditions.

There are many reasons we feel inspired to serve as guardians to those we care for. Sometimes just holding the space for somebody allows them to do what is necessary to grow or heal. We may simply want to see that our friend or loved one is taken care of and equipped to prevail over difficult circumstances. We may also sense that we are in possession of knowledge our loved ones are lacking yet need in their current stage of development. Our offer to serve as a guardian may also be both unsolicited and unrelated to any one situation. Instead of helping someone we care about cope with a specific challenge, we may find ourselves providing them with a more general form of emotional sustenance that prepares and strengthens them for challenges yet to come.

Our ability to empathize with those under our guardianship is our greatest asset because our comprehension of their needs allows us to determine how we can best serve them. Even when this comprehension is limited, however, the loving intentions with which we enter into our role as guardian ensure that our care and protection help others grow as individuals while living their lives with grace. I want to say thank you to all my Guardians. 😘💕😎

Good Morning in S. Cali. Taci you need to rest now all that driving and your second
vaccine shot I bet your arm hurt. 🌹 Thank you for the birthday shout out for my dad.
It was a strange day and I saw a white butterfly. 😘❤🌹 I always look for signs especially
when I am outdoors on the patio or walking. 💕

I would stay put today and see how things go. I have not tried the hemp oil yet it is on
the list. 😘😎I have huge gallons of Perlier and Korres along with Beekman 1802. 😘😎
