Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Thank you for everything and you are right about the vaccine and Colorado. 😎💕

The bar is done and so are the attached cabinets. Just have the bar stools. Not sure if I will get to them tonight. I’m bushed. But the accomplishment, worth every penny and the back aches. You should see the lineup to go out the door either tonight or tomorrow morning. Clutter in that area….non existent. 😀😍🤩 Next the kitchen and all cabinets. I’ll let hubby deal with the one above the stove. Seems a gecko got in there. How it got in there is beyond me. The doors to that cabinet are always closed. Need to empty it out and look for an entrance and exit. The rest is history.
It’s so exciting when things start to come your way. The worse is over. No mams until November and that’s good news. Now you just need the vaccine. Heard there is a new one coming down the pike. Have no idea which one this is. Suffice to say, they have completed two different trials and will start the third one.
I;m a little late. But, will make dinner anyway. Have a great, happy, evening. Celebration is ON 🎉🍾🥂🎆🎇🎈. One giant step towards arriving in Colorado.

Sunrise, Sunset – Fiddler on the Roof Cast
(Tevye)
Is this the little girl I carried?
Is this the little boy at play?
(Golde)
I don’t remember growing older
When did they?
(Tevye)
When did she get to be a beauty?
When did he grow to be so tall?
(Golde)
Wasn’t it yesterday
When they were small?
(Men)
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly flow the days
(Women)
Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers
Blossoming even as we gaze
(All)
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly fly the years
One season following another
Laden with happiness and tears
(Tevye)
What words of wisdom can I give them?
How can I help to ease their way?
(Golde)
Now they must learn from one another
Day by day
(Perchik)
They look so natural together
(Hodel)
Just like two newlyweds should be
(Perchik & Hodel)
Is there a canopy in store for me?
(All)
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly fly the years
One season following another

What I Did for Love – Chorus Line
Kiss today goodbye
The sweetness and the sorrow
Wish me luck, the same to you
But I can’t regret
What I did for love, what I did for love
Look, my eyes are dry
The gift was ours to borrow
It’s as if we always knew
And I won’t forget what I did for love
What I did for love
Gone
Love is never gone
As we travel on
Love’s what we’ll remember
Kiss today goodbye
And point me toward tomorrow
We did what we had to do
Won’t forget, can’t regret
What I did for love
What I did for love
What I did for love
And I won’t forget
What I did for love
Gone
Love is never gone
As we travel on
Love’s what we’ll remember
Kiss today goodbye
And point me toward tomorrow
We did what we had to do
Won’t forget, can’t regret
What I did for love
What I did for love
What I did for love
What I did for love -

“Don’t Rain On My Parade”
(from “Funny Girl” soundtrack)[At the end of the Baltimore run, Fanny’s train
is leaving to go on to to Chicago, while Nick
must catch the train for New York and then
head to Europe. Nick tells Fanny he loves
her and she suggests he marry her, but he
wants to have a fortune before he does.
On the spur of the moment, Fanny decides
to leave the tour and follow Nick to New York.
Eddie who has arrived to visit tries to talk her
out of it. Ziegfeld tries as well, but Fanny is
intent on following Nick; she has success in
show business and now she wants a personal
life as well. Eddie tries to advise her one more
time, “Don’t”, and she replies:]Don’t tell me not to live
Just sit and putter
Life’s candy and the sun’s
A ball of butter
Don’t bring around a cloud
To rain on my parade
Don’t tell me not to fly
I’ve simply got to
If someone takes a spill
It’s me and not you
Who told you you’re allowed
To rain on my parade!
I’ll march my band out
I’ll beat my drum
And if I’m fanned out
Your turn at bat, sir
At least I didn’t fake it
Hat, sir, I guess I didn’t make it!
But whether I’m the rose
Of sheer perfection
Or freckle on the nose
Of life’s complexion
The cinder or the shiny apple of its eye
I gotta fly once
I gotta try once
Only can die once, right, sir?
Ooh, life is juicy
Juicy, and you’ll see
I’m gonna have my bite, sir!
Get ready for me, love
‘Cause I’m a “comer”
I simply gotta march
My heart’s a drummer
Don’t bring around a cloud
To rain on my parade!
I’m gonna live and live now
Get what I want, I know how
One roll for the whole shebang
One throw, that bell will go clang
Eye on the target, and wham
One shot, one gun shot, and bam
Hey, Mister Arnstein, here I am!I’ll march my band out
I will beat my drum
And if I’m fanned out
Your turn at bat, sir
At least I didn’t fake it
Hat, sir, I guess I didn’t make it
Get ready for me, love
‘Cause I’m a “comer”
I simply gotta march
My heart’s a drummer
Nobody, no, nobody
Is gonna rain on my parade! -
Some Enchanted Evening
Song by Oscar Hammerstein II and Richard RodgersSome enchanted evening, you may see a stranger,
You may see a stranger across a crowded room,
And somehow you know, you know even then,
That somehow you’ll see here again and again.
Some enchanted evening, someone may be laughing,
You may hear her laughing across a crowded room,
And night after night, as strange as it seems,
The sound of her laughter will sing in your dreams.
Who can explain it, who can tell you why?
Fools give you reasons, wise men never try.
Some enchanted evening, when you find your true love,
When you hear her call you across a crowded room,
Then fly to her side and make her your own,
Or all through your life you may dream all alone.
Once you have found her, never let her go,
Once you have found her, never let her go. -

Good, just like I said it would be. The spoonbill did it’s job. He/she is resting at the other side of the lake. If he comes our way will give him tons of shrimp as a thank you.
I will write more later. Hubby needs the computer and I need to get back to work.
