It is extremely windy today. The lake has white caps which we never see. And yes, the spooner is here. He/she is at a neighbor’s home trying to get a handout. So cute and ever so brazen.

Hubby is OK. His back still is bothering him. He went to the barber while I was asleep. Didn’t notice he had a haircut. I am now in the “doghouse.” I also decided to try prevagen on his memory loss. Friends rave that it made their parents feel better and also gave them remarkable memory. Took them by surprise. I bought only a one month supply to see if there are any changes. The vitamins from Andrew are helping, but he feels the progress is too slow. Time will tell.

I’m going to do some more work now. Don’t you worry, I won’t overdo a thing….. 😎😎

The robins were on command this morning. The one actually got closer to me with a worm hanging out of its mouth. Kind of like “get away, this is for my baby.” So cute watching them guarding the nest from big, bad me!!!😡

I did a whole lot of nothing today.😏 Ran down the street real quick for some staples. Made a couple shopping lists for later as I need to find some closet storage boxes one of these days. My old ones are from Joy M. and they are falling apart. Maybe because I have too many shoes and handbags??😮

Upper 80’s starting tomorrow, no rain until maybe Monday. I hope mom gets through the second shot💉 without problems. Our county is lifting almost all mask restrictions for vaccinated people.😷 Covid numbers have been way down, yay!👍

Home and Land Meditation

Expressing gratitude toward your home and the earth can help you stay conscious of where the gifts in your life come from.

Just as we take care of our friends and families, our homes and Mother Earth take care of us. Our homes give us a place of refuge — a sanctuary that stands between us and the elements of nature and the rest of the world. The earth is an unselfish giver of life and the steward of our physical and spiritual needs. Earth’s bountiful plant life nourishes us, gives us air, and offers us cooling shade. Her waters quench our thirst, and her beauty stirs our souls. Yet it is easy to take both of these wonderful sources of our blessings for granted. Expressing the gratitude you feel toward your home and the earth for the blessings each provides can help you stay conscious of where many of the gifts in your life come from. Each time you give thanks you’ll be reminded of the importance of caring for your home and for Mother Earth. There is a simple and beautiful meditation you can perform to show your gratitude. Begin by finding a quiet place where you can be alone. Sit comfortably and breathe deeply until you feel relaxed, and then read the following out loud:

“Thank you, home, for allowing me to live within your walls. Thank you for giving me shelter, warmth, and security. Thank you for allowing me to live my life in your womb, for staying strong and sturdy, for supporting me, and for your beauty.

Thank you, Earth, for the land that I live on and for allowing me to steward life with you. Thank you for allowing me to walk upon your soil, cultivate you, and live in partnership with you. Thank you for supporting my home and my family.

Thank you, plants, minerals, and animals that dwell on the land that I steward. Thank you for allowing me to experience your beauty, share in your wonderment of life, and for the honor of living with all of you on this earth. Thank you for the wisdom and joy you bring to humanity.

I honor you.”

You can perform this mediation as often as you like and anytime you feel particularly thankful for the many blessings you have received. Each time you do, you’ll reaffirm and strengthen your connection with all that protects, supports, and sustains you. So cool. 😎

bird feeder in his backyard and I see many beautiful birds and they sit on my fence

Good Morning in S. California. 😘😎Taci for the last seven years and more I have enjoyed
your company. 😘I do love hearing about your hikes in S. California you never know
what you will see. California is a whole other country it is vast. Taci do you ever get to
Northern California? My niece lives where you are but my husband has a large family in
N. California. 😘💕I have a couple of aunts I need to call today just to catch up.

I love to walk and take in nature. The area I live in OZ have a lot of wildlife and critters. 💕😘

I have come upon a lot of things thank god they were safe. One thing that rattled me was
the year my hubby found a nest of snakes in our backyard. 😜No thanks he took them to
safety.
