Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

I wish I lived near you I hate to see you working so hard. I cannot stand summer and the
humidity. I bet the person do want your home on Cape Cod. 😎 -
Good news from your oncologist. Guess you will be receiving the vaccine soon.
I am exhausted. I do not think I will finish the cleaning in ten days plus cutting all the plants back and weed. Unfortunately, we will have to do it ourselves for now. I took some time off yesterday so we could go to Costco for water. There was no air in the warehouse and I thought I would pass out. The only people wearing masks were the employees. We decided to try to go without and will not do so in the future. It’s better with and also not as scary. Did notice that their food court is now closed. They had the holders for soda surrounding the area. Don’t know if it’s for renovation or will be closed permanently. I also wanted to stop at the Farmer’s Market, but didn’t feel well enough when we arrived. Never got out of the car.
The kitchen is basically done. Just have a few tweeks to do tonight. Tomorrow the MB. Will make reservations tonight. I’m hoping hubby will change his mind about leaving next week. I really could use the rest. Besides, I do not like rushing to finish. And right now, I'[m pulling my hair out.
Last night I spoke to the person who wants to purchase our Cape home. I said thank you, but for now we would like to stay. However, I will keep his phone number just in case we decide to sell in the future. We had a delightful conversation. And during the conversation there was a beautiful light show from “Mother Nature.” Again, no rain.

I figured I better check in while I am sitting upright and awake.😴 Wow, did so much that my lower back is sore which never happens. My husband and I helped a neighbor with a garden/wall project and I got some new water pipes installed in my home. Had to clean out under all my sinks, which I did yesterday, and put it all back today. Changed some things around in the laundry room, which is not done, and will be an ongoing project for a couple weeks.
So happy all your appointments and tests were A-plus!!🤗🥰 I saw a few butterflies this morning so I knew your dad was looking out for you.💕 I will keep your BIL in my prayers for sure.🙏
It is hot and humid in the ‘burgh and looks like we may get a storm. Crazy day, one minute the sun is out and the next dark clouds. Getting ready to share an Italian hoagie with hubs that the grocery store prepared just for me!🌯 Then it’s hockey and wine if I don’t fall asleep.🏒🍷 You know the drill, you serve me every evening, love my personal bartender!🍹💗

Exploring Our Readiness
Those in-between times that happen in our lives can be viewed as being rich with possibility for what is coming next
It could be argued that life is more about the time spent waiting for something to happen than it is about something happening. What this means is that the big events in our lives are preceded by many days and nights of dreaming, planning, organizing, and waiting. The times of waiting in between the big events actually constitute the majority of our lives. These in-between times are anything but uneventful. In fact, they are rich with possibility and filled with opportunities for reflection and preparation. Like a pregnant woman awaiting the birth of her child, we have a finite period of time in which to prepare internally and externally for the upcoming event that will define a new chapter in our lives.
When we find ourselves in an in-between time, we often can’t help but feel impatient for the impending event. We just want to get to the future and have the new baby, the new job, or the new house. And yet, there is a reason a pregnancy takes nine months to fulfill itself. Nature provides the expectant parents with this time so that they can prepare the nest. This preparation plays out on many levels. Materially, a space must be created in the home and resources must be set aside for the baby’s future; psychologically, a shift must occur in which the psyches of both parents agree to be responsible for a new life in the world; and emotionally, the heart must open wider to embrace and fulfill a new love.
Whenever you find yourself in such a time of waiting, you might want to spend time exploring your material, psychological, and emotional readiness. For example, if you are preparing to move to a new city, you could make a list of things you’d like to do in the city you will be leaving behind, and go to your favorite places and spend time with old friends. This way, you will remain fully engaged in the present as you await your future, savoring the in-between time as a vital experience in itself. 😎
