Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

A Little More Love
Song by Olivia Newton-JohnNight is draggin’ her feet
I wait alone in the heat
I know, know that you’ll have your way
Till you have to go home
No’s a word I can’t sayCause it gets me nowhere to tell you no
And it gets me nowhere to make you go
Will a little more love make you start depending
Will a little more love bring a happy ending
Will a little more love make it right?
Will a little more love make it right?Where, where did my innocence go?
How, how was a young girl to know?
I’m trapped, trapped in the spell of your eyes
In the warmth of your arms
In the web of your liesBut it gets me nowhere to tell you no
And it gets me nowhere to make you go
Will a little more love make you start depending
Will a little more love bring a happy ending
Will a little more love make it right?
Will a little more love make it right? -

A bright, full moon will rise to illuminate the night sky Monday, and it’s not just any full moon — April marks the return of the “pink” supermoon.
Supermoons are full moons that appear larger and more luminous in the sky because they are in perigee — a bit closer to Earth than usual. This typically happens a few times each year.
“Different publications use slightly different thresholds for deciding which full moons qualify as supermoons, but for 2021 all agree the two full moons in April and May are supermoons,” NASA’s Gordon Johnston said in a statement.
The moon will be visible after sunset and reach its fullest point at 11:32 p.m. ET on April 26, NASA says. It will continue to appear full until about Wednesday morning.
It’s called the pink moon — but it’s not actually pink.
“Before you get your hopes up, this ‘Super Pink Moon’ won’t actually look ‘super pink’—or any hue of pink, really,” the Farmer’s Almanac states. “The Moon will be its usual golden color near the horizon and fade to a bright white as it glides overhead.”
According to the Farmer’s Almanac, April’s full moon is called a Pink Moon after the herb “moss pink,” Phlox subulata. Native to the Eastern U.S., the plant is one of the earliest and most widespread spring flowers.

Oh, Sheba, I thought your dad’s birthday was tomorrow. I surmise that’s because Shoelady’s mom is celebrating tomorrow. I remember how difficult it was for me the following year. Dad past five days following his birthday and two weeks before their anniversary. It was really difficult. I actually had no time to mourn because Mom needed me morning, noon and night. However, the one thing that helped me the most was remembering all the things he could no longer enjoy because of his heart issues. On one hand I missed him terribly, but on the other I knew he was in a better place where he was free of pain and could watch his baseball teams, yell at the TV when his team lost, go bowling with friends, or just get into the car and drive wherever the road would take him and Mom. Sheba, the first year is the hardest. The following years are tough, but becomes easier to live with. I still have moments……..but know he is with me and in a better place.

Good Monday and a long overdue Howdy to you Miss Sheba😘🦋
We have had such a great time but things are winding down and getting ready to leave on Thursday. My Sister left a little early, this past weekend, because we have been experiencing really high gusty winds and blowing dust. You should see Little D on his walks. When the winds start to blow and gust, his ears look like airplane wings ready to take off!!
I’m taking a little break from cleaning house and getting the house ready to close up again. Hubby is tackling one of his honey do’s and painting doors. We are going to paint the hall this summer.
I’ve seen my Jewelry Friend several times and brought a silver link chain but also put 2 pieces away that I’ll get during her July annual sale. Since she didn’t have one last year and was closed, I’m behind and need to catch up! That is my reasoning for getting 2 pieces this year😂😂😂.
I found a Charlie Favour Turquoise inlay leather cuff bracelet and another silver cuff from an Indian artist with gorgeous inlay work. It’s difficult to find cuffs to fit my petite wrist, so when I do 🤗.
We’ve had a couple of snowy days, but thankfully it melted and NO ice. That day, Hubby, Sister and I had the best time playing monopoly and the card game UNO. We actually played UNO every evening after dinner.
Jewel and Little D send a mountain high shout out to Poppy.
Stay safe and well Sheba. 😘❤️ -
Good afternoon, thought I’d try to get a post in between work and computer problems. I guess mom and sis are fine. I did not talk to them today and they did not call because I had running around to do. We will see them tomorrow.
Husband is fine and 100%.🥰 Only the day after the second shot he did not feel good. His best friend got his second shot last Saturday and did not feel well yesterday🥴 but is back to normal today.
Enjoy your walk tonight. Hopefully winter is over and you can walk every day and night.💐🌻

Hi Oodie – As you said recently, great minds think alike.👩❤️👩 I have a virus scan done everyday and I did a long one yesterday. I also have the annual Geek Squad policy and have used them remotely before. I am very busy today so I plan to call them tomorrow. Hope they can fix it.
Don’t work too hard. As Ms. Scarlett said, tomorrow is another day.😊

If you use virus software such as Norton, McAfee, etc., you may wish to do a complete virus check on your computer. Also take a look at your document file. There may be more in that area that you can easily delete. As my computers seem to age and become less responsive, I joined the Geek Squad. It’s $99/yr, but, at times like this, worth every penny. No, you don’t have to lug the CPU to a store, you can either have them come to your home or you can actually go online for repairs especially when it may be a virus from something you visited. In other words, they repair remotely.

I have often said that great minds think a like. However, there is one more avenue to try. When all else fails I try You Tube. Sometimes one person’s video clears everything up.
Have a great day with Mom and Sis tomorrow. Wish her a Happy Birthday from hubby and me. May she have many more happy and healthy ones. And, if I remember, she has the vaccine this week. Keep us posted on how she fairs with this. Seems the older you are, the less side effects.
We did not see the full moon tonight. Very cloudy here, but no humidity. Hope I can rise early tomorrow so I can do some outside work. Hubby wants to help, but his eyelids won’t open until my work is done. LOL…

You Never Know Who You’ll Meet
Everyone is valuable in their own way and capable of expanding our horizons.
Our individual journeys take us into many unexpected situations where we encounter a wide variety of people — some quite like ourselves and some very different. We cannot anticipate these meetings, but we can make the most of them when they take place. When we are courteous as a matter of course and open-minded in our assessment of the individuals whose lives briefly touch our own, we are more apt to stumble upon surprising gems of wisdom that open our eyes to new worlds of possibility. Every person we meet can affect us profoundly, just as every situation we find ourselves in can teach us something new.
To fully embrace this fact, it is essential that we acknowledge that everyone is valuable in their own way and capable of expanding our horizons. Since we never know when we will happen upon those individuals who will unveil truths before us, we should extend to all people the same generous level of kindness, care, compassion, and understanding. When we assume everyone we meet is special and treat them as such, we can develop a strong rapport quickly. By making an effort to adopt a positive attitude toward others at all times, we ensure that our emotions do not blind us to wisdom that may be lurking in difficult or distressing situations. We are accordingly receptive to knowledge that comes to us in the form of examples, advice, and direct teaching.
These brief relationships ultimately have the potential to enrich our lives in a very concrete way. But the wisdom we gain is proportional to the attention we pay to the world around us. The responsibility is on us to maintain a state of awareness that allows us to recognize when we are in the presence of someone consciously or unconsciously in possession of knowledge that will change us significantly. When we are cognizant of the potential for unexpected enlightenment, we make a habit of turning strangers into friends, thus ensuring that we are never without a font of wisdom from which to draw. Amen! 😎🌹

Good day on the Gulf Coast. 😎😘I know busy, busy, busy. I always say a woman’s work
is never done. 🤣I am taking a break from my chores if only for a while.I already took Poppy for a walk and plan to watch the moon tonight with a longer walk.
I think hubby is coming along too. 💕Oodie how are you and hubby doing today? I know your MB will be lovely and I love
the Beach theme. 😘💕-
Yep, busy, busy, busy. I played Secretary this morning for hubby and everything now is taken care of. There is also always time to sit down and take the load off mind and feet to say hello. We are working on the dining area first and the bar area in the kitchen. It will have to be done eventually, so why not now.
I am also looking at alternatives to cable when we return North. Our cable company gave us huge problems during the pandemic when we were told that we could close everything through the middle of September. This was not the case, They only allowed two weeks past our seasonal shut down which meant we had to pay full price for everything even though we were not there. If I had known sooner, would have cancelled everything including the equipment. Unfortunately, our TVs are not SMART, and will check to see if there is a HTML Port. If not, will use our computer for programs we would hate to miss, providing,, of course, we have WIFI. That should be the worse of our problems.
Enjoy your walk tonight with hubby and Poppy. I surmise there will be a full, pink moon. It’s a bit cloudy here so not sure if we will have anything to write home about.
