Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Hallelujah
Song by Jeff BuckleyI heard there was a secret chord
That David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don’t really care for music, do you?
Well it goes like this the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall and the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Well your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to her kitchen chair
She broke your throne and she cut your hair
And from your lips, she drew the Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Baby, I’ve been here before
I’ve seen this room and I’ve walked this floor
You know, I used to live alone before I knew you
And I’ve seen your flag on the marble arch
And Love is not a victory march
It’s a cold and it’s a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Well, there was a time when you let me know
What’s really going on below
But now you never show that to me, do you?
But remember, when I moved in you
And the holy dove was moving too
And every breath, we drew was Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Maybe there’s a God above
But, all I’ve ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew you?
And it’s not a cry, that you hear at night
It’s not somebody, who’s seen the light
It’s a cold and it’s a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah -

Happy Birthday in Heaven Dad today is your birthday. 💕🌹We your family miss you
so much. I love you dad. 🌹😘🌹I’ll be seeing you. 😎I’ll Be Seeing You
Song by Billie HolidayI’ll be seeing you
In all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces
All day through
In that small cafe
The park across the way
The children’s carosel
The chestnut trees
The wishin’ well
I’ll be seeing you
In every lovely summer’s day
In everything that’s light and
I’ll always think of you that way
I’ll find you
In the morning sun
And when the night is new
I’ll be looking at the moon
But I’ll be seeing you
I’ll be seeing you
In every lovely summer’s day
In everything that’s light and
I’ll always think of you that way
I’ll find you
In the morning sun
And when the night is new
I’ll be looking at the moon
But I’ll be seeing you -
The Process of GrievingGrief can arise from many life situations, but know it is not a permanent state of being.
When we experience any kind of devastating loss, whether it is the loss of a loved one, a dream, or a relationship, feelings may arise within us that are overwhelming or difficult to cope with. This sense of grief can also come up when we are separated from anyone or anything we have welcomed into our lives. And while it may feel like we are caught up in a never-ending spiral of sadness and emptiness, it is important to remember that the grief we are feeling is not a permanent state of being. Rather, grief is part of the process of letting go that in many ways can be a gift, allowing us to go deeper within ourselves to rediscover the light amidst the seeming darkness.
The emotions that accompany any kind of loss can be intense and varied. A sense of shock or denial is often the first reaction, to be replaced by anger. Sometimes this anger can be directed at your loved one for “abandoning” you; at other times you may feel outrage toward the universe for what you are enduring. And while there are stages of grief that people go through — moving from denial to anger to bargaining to depression to acceptance — the cycles of grief often move in spirals, sometimes circling forward and then back again. You may even experience moments of strength, faith, and laughter in between. While these emotions seem to come and go sporadically, it is important to feel them, accept them, and allow them to flow. With time, patience, and compassion, you will eventually find your center again.
As we move through our grief, we may find ourselves reluctant to release our pain, fearing we are letting go of who or what we have lost. We may even regard our movement toward healing as an act of disloyalty or giving up. Know that while the hurt may fade, the essence of what you had and who you loved will have already transformed you and forever stay with you. If anything, once you are ready for the pain of your loss to subside, their memories can then live more fully within you. Remember, that healing is a part of the spiraling cycles of grief, and that in letting yourself feel restored again, you are surrendering to a natural movement that is part of the dance of life. This is my truth. 🌹💕😘

Happy Birthday to your mother from all of us on the Conversation Thread.
May she have many more. 😘💕

Sheba, thank you very, very much for the wonderful celebration for mom. We had a nice dinner and went back to mom’s for dessert.🥧 Your dear father was included in our toasts🥂 and we sang happy birthday to him in heaven.💖 Mom said she will pray for him all week.🙏
Not much else happening, got the computer working today so I am a happy camper.😊 Another heat wave in the ‘burgh for a couple days. I am not complaining.

I am so glad everyone has a good time with Mom. Thank you for the prayers for my dad. 💕😎
I have been on the phone with many relatives talking about dad and sharing pictures.
It’s been an emotional day but I am alright. I hope I dream of him tonight. 😘Here is one for the road Happy Birthday again to your mom who may be sleeping
right about now. 😘💕🌹 -
So happy that Mom had a great birthday celebration. She sounds like a wonderful person. Bet she can outdo the best of us.
Two hours with the Geeks, oh my. It always amazes me how much they can repair things away from home and at a place that isn’t even the drop off place. They have so many comp[uter debugs at their fingertips and software that we are not even aware of. Maybe we should introduce them to our tech unit/arcade team. Bet they will be able to find and repair those problems in no time. LOL
Hope your hubby gets to enjoy a game of golf before he heads for Georgia. Hubby and I were just discussing our trip and our usual haunts are in Savannah. However, the Interstate, which is I-75 for us has ongoing construction where they are not only widening the lanes but redoing the off ramps from the bridges. Consequently, there are traffic tieups where you can go between 10 and 15mph. Looks like are 5 hr. trip for the first day when we leave here will take at least 10 hours. There is another route we can take, but it is single lanes for most of the trip with tons of traffic lights and stop signa. The speed limit is between 35-55 mph. We still have time.
We will still make a stop in Lancaster to visit Gabes and a few other places.Glad your computer is feeling better. Have a wonderful evening. Stay safe.

Oodie, that is too funny! Yes, the arcade definitely needs the Squad. Maybe I should post their phone number?
I know you are an excellent planner but your trip home sounds like you need a PHD in navigation. You and your husband must be very patient. After the first slowdown, my husband would be cussing, moaning and groaning and somehow it would be my fault. That’s why we always fly, lol!

Good Afternoon. I hope you see a beautiful butterfly today. If not, look for a rainbow or a feather which will let you know that your Dad is near. Tears are good. You need to go through all the processes. Eventually, the days will be brighter and the sadness gone. In it’s place you will feel tranquil and maybe a presence near you.
Our next vaccine is in a week and a half, but who’s counting. I just read on line that I can return North two weeks after the vaccine. Not necessary to quarantine. We will bring the vaccine card with us and it will be in a place that is always accessible. Rhode Island and the Cape are very questionable. We do most of our shopping in Rhode Island. We have been informed that Ma. requires you quarantine for two weeks unless you are tested for Covid 19. If the test is negative, no quarantine. Hopefully, by the time we head North, things will change.
The weather here is unbelievable. Rain expected, but right now the sun is out. I was due for my Mam in the middle of May, but all that has changed. Will make a new appointment after our doctor’s appointment, This will be treated as my yearly and will let you know that schedule.
Enjoy the day. Stay safe.

Geek Squad to the rescue! I called today and an agent worked remotely on my computer for over two hours and, as of right now, all is working fine. The older I get the less patience I have for all electronics. Hats off to all the IT experts out there.
