Please take your time and be careful driving back to Texas. Crazy weather all over the US. Jake is just like Jewel when it comes to storms. We had rain last night and all day today. He is finally calming down and the panting is slowing down. My husband and I schedule our lives around the weather forecasts so one of us can be home with Jake if storms are predicted.😟💗

Good idea about leaving the wallet at home. I’m assuming all layaway plans are also off the table? Go for it, life is short.💍💎👍

Sheba, I thought you would have a sign. Met a really nice couple who new my parents well, they came and took some items to donate from storage and some to keep as well. I was happy about it and glad many things went to some people she knew.
My arm hurt just a bit at night and each hour hurt less and less, now it’s just about normal.
Read a huge covid vaccine thread on a local app, many people with so many differing opinions and all very interesting.
We have a hummingbird nest on the front porch under the roof. We see the bird flying around, they love my Aloe plant that blooms,

Hope you are feeling okay today. My arm also hurt more from the second shot and I was tired the day after. That was from the Pfizer. My husband had Moderna and he was tired and had the chills the day after but was good the following day. You have a lot going on so try to take it easy.🙌

Shoelady, We both got the same vaccine, and our husbands both received Moderna. Does this make us vaccine twins? The 2nd shot was given a bit higher on the arm and we shared the same effects. My arm is feeling almost back to new. My husband might say I was cranky yesterday, and i was a slightly tired.
Glad your sister’s J&J went well. I was wondering how it went for her, especially because J&J was pulled right after.

“Raindrops keep falling on my head” today and all day.🌧☂ Warm but dreary day, nicer for the weekend. Mom got her first vaccine so hope she is feeling alright tomorrow.🥰 Of course I will check in. Did much of nothing today except run to the grocery store.

Hockey game tonight,🏒 getting near the end of the regular shortened season. We should make the playoffs but they have been horrible last couple years losing in the first round.😝 Hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💕

The MB is on a temporary hold. Found a few things that need to go North, so decided to work on the front door area and the dining room to make room for the items going North. That way it will be a lot easier to pack the car. Tomorrow I will oil the dining room table so that the warm weather and no A/C will not dry it out in a hurry. Just need to lightly wash the fabric on the dining chairs.

We both go for our lab tests Monday. Hubby couldn’t find his insurance cards. I made more of a mess everywhere in the search. Made a call to the Insurance company for his new card. He never authorized me to do it, so, I thought it could not be done. Hubby happened to walk in just as I was about to say goodbye, and now he will have a new card next week. Oh yes, I now have an authorization to beg for whatever is needed.

We sat in the den talking for awhile and of course the second vaccine came up in our conversation. That’s when the light bulb went off. The last time I saw him use the card was when we went for the first dose. I put on easy on and off shoes and went looking. It wasn’t in the glove compartments or anywhere else. Checked the back and found his carry case and looked inside. Lo and Behold, found the Costco Membership Card. This has been missing for over a year. Looked under the car seats. Nothing. About to give up, I thought of one additional area. You know that area where things get lost and cannot be found. Yep, between the seats in front and the hoosie whatsee in between. It wasn’t on his side, but something was on mine. I had to use a thick envelope to get it out. Yep, lost has been found. I have to say that the car was extremely hot. Outside temp had to be in the mid to upper 80s. We have not had a decent shower in over a week. None expected during the weekend. Not sure about next week.

Tomorrow is Trivia. Will be there. Still not sure if there’s a game. But will we persevere no matter what. Onward and upward as I always say.

I need to make a dent in the front which is starting to look real good. I have an old punch bowl from my mother-in-law’s home which will look real nice as a centerpiece. It’s pressed glass and has a matching stand. Then it’s on to the kitchen. Since most of the glassware and dishes are in the sink, will use the opportunity to redo the cabinets and all the drawers. I should tackle the pantry, but will leave it for the return.
