Hi. Very cloudy here and hot as blazes. Temp is definitely mid 90s. Humidity is uo there also. Kitchen looks good and I found what I needed in our outdoor shed for cleaning the windows. Found sponge mops with long handles.

Need to go to the Farmer’s Market, but it is too hot to venture anywhere. Just hope we will see some rain to cool us off a bit. If that happens, will venture wherever.

Today we will make our reservations for heading North. Looks like we will be leaving within two weeks. I may be able to get things started on the Friday we are in a hotel/motel, but staying on line may not be easy. I have no way of stopping the snoopers. And, maybe, by that time we will be running like we used to.

No word on my cousin. I have no idea if he is home. Last I heard he was still in the hospital. I sure hope your BIL is doing OK. Chemo, sometimes can be worse than the disease, but if he can persevere he may see a light at the end of that long tunnel.

I think I will work on the junk drawer in the kitchen. I was about to wait until we return, but if I do it now, it will certainly make our life easier later.

Mom is fine, she went to At Home yesterday and bought new cushions for her glider, a new rug for her TV room and a set of flameless candles. I told sis to make sure she throws the old things out because she has way too much for one person and she hangs onto things “just in case.” Mom is not happy unless she is spending money.🤑 At her age, I hope she uses it all up, lol!🤣

Had a drywall man at my house today to look over changes to the laundry room. He can start in about a week and a half and said it will take about four evenings. He has a full-time job and does this on the side on weekends and evenings. I will definitely have a house full of dust that will take me weeks to clean up.😩 Maybe I’ll get a cleaning service, depending how I feel.
