I was watching that storm today. It was in North Carolina this morning and they expected it to become tropical and then head out to sea. There was some wind, but nothing more than 40mph.
To think we almost left Florida on Sunday, we could have been in the center of this. The weather people are now watching a storm form in the Gulf near Mexico. They are saying that it may veer towards Louisiana. I’m hoping that we will get some offshoots. We really need the rain. We will be leaving soon. Better believe I will be watching the weather very carefully. As long as you and your family are OK, that is all that matters. Having your SILs drop in without calling. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING???? I probably would have given them a rag along with a paint brush and told them to get to work….. 🤣🤣🤣 Those extra pair of hands would have come in handy…….Happy that you, hubby and Jake are OK. That’s the most important.

Good early morning to you. It’s just a little after 2 am and working. Finished the entire kitchen. Next week we will clean the frig and discard what we will not use. I did the windows today. I thought it would take over an hour. It took just a few minutes. Used hot, hot water and added vinegar into a plastic bucket. Found a sponge mop and used it to do the windows over the sink. Never did hit the glass hanging lights. If I had a newspaper, would have used it on the wet windows so I resorted to paper towels over the wet mop. There were no streaks. Hubby washed the floor. Needs a once over. One corner just needs a little tweaking on the floor. That’s it. I am now in the MB. Hope to make a huge dent and be done by Wednesday.

Weather this morning when I ducked my head out the door was warm, but no humidity. That changed within minutes. High humidity. What was I thinking???? Dark clouds this morning that went North. Dark clouds this afternoon that let some rain drop, but again, not enough to water shrubs and plants. It’s another 70% for Tuesday. Still, I will not hold my breath.

Spoke to my neighbor on Cape. While on the phone there were dark clouds and some lightning on the horizon. However, one of those streaks was red/deep pink. Never saw anything like it. While on the phone there was one red cloud to the side of our home between the dark ones. This cloud was in the shape of a heart. It didn’t last long, but was nice to see. I don’t know if I mentioned that last week I saw a cloud in the shape of a bear playing peek-a-boo and in a sitting position. His bottom paws were cute. To the left side of the bear there was one foot with five distinct toes. Both were very distinct. I’m kicking myself now for not taking a picture.

As for your BIL. If the cancer was caught in time and has not spread to other organs, he has a chance to survive. Surgery can remove the cancerous tissue in the liver. From what I have read, the liver can grow back. I’m not sure if it grows to a normal size, but know that it will be functional. The other possibility is a transplant. But that can only be accomplished if the cancer hasn’t spread. I will keep your BIL in my prayers. I know people who have overcome this. Diet has to change. No preservatives. Eat more organic. He has a tough road. I will pray that there will be a rainbow to help him get through this. He will be in my prayers and my thoughts. Maybe our spoonbill can help.

Going to hit the sack. Today comes very early in Florida. The sun is up before 6 am and does not leave before 8:40 pm. So nice to have daylight for so many hours. Take care and stay safe.

Sheba, Hope this is a great week for you and family as well. Sorry your BIL has to go through so much. I will be thinking about him and wish him well.

Today I was getting some items from my closet and had a pleasant surprise. It was Choco Nuvo! Yay, so now I can make until October. Made my day.
The heat has arrived. We hiked later in the day but it’s a lot harder when warmer and or hot. I think I am still tired.
FM, yes, I think about her and her husband as well. My guess is when the time is right she will drop by. Since Mercury is in retrograde ( I only know what that means from her posts 🙂 ), it will probably have to wait.
