Oodie, All of your homes locations sound great. I hope at some point in the future to spend a month or two on the East Coast which is where I am from originally.
CA has very high electricity rates. I will hold off on my opinions. About 6 years ago we bought solar. It was better to get solar and pay for it than to keep up with these outrageous prices. Now we create energy, goes into the grid, and don’t really have much of a bill. Maybe look into if you spend some more summers in FL. Then you can crank the air back up 🙂 . We see a lot of Solar here.

I am so down today. And I know you are feeling it also. Both of us for the same reason. I know how Shoelady feels. And I know, when the time is right, she may find a second Jake. But, today, is a big loss for her, and she has to go through the process like we all have done. It’s very difficult to lose a pet. They are just as much family as a son or daughter and husband. It really has been a tough week. I didn’t get a thing done in 48 hours. Hopefully, I can smile a bit tomorrow. My face got a good workout today with all that frowning and sadness.

My BIL lives in Silver Springs, Maryland and he has a wife I will copy and paste all this
important information to them. I want his two daughters to have the info as well.

Thank you for this info so much is going on. I really feel for Shoelady60. I know how
much she misses Jake.

I would never be the same if I lost Poppy any time soon. NEVER!

I forgot to mention yogurt and puddings. Also add fresh fruit juice to the ice. Make your own puree foods, tastes better. If possible, a little exercise does not hurt. A walk around t he house outside, down a couple of blocks. Just tell him not to overdo it. I hope this helps in some way.

Like you, today is not a good day at all. Nothing was accomplished. I sat in the den overlooking the lake most of the afternoon. Just could not lift a finger. Tomorrow I will check out the fans in Sam’s Club. I think they may be less expensive at Costco, but will see what they have. Just not in the mood to do much. It is dad’s birthday. Not a good day to light the candle. I will wait until tomorrow at sundown.
