Tart Cherry Refresher – (we used Skinnygirl Cherry Juice #772-273)

Inspired by the brand launch of Bethenny Frankel’s Skinnygirl Eats, our Drink of the Week is a Tart Cherry Refresher. It’s a fruity, bubbly beverage that is perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients:
• 1 ½ oz vodka
• 1 oz Skinnygirl Cherry Juice
• ½ oz simple syrup
• Club soda
• Fresh cherries, for garnish

Directions:
• Fill a glass with ice.
• Add the vodka, cherry juice, and simple syrup.
• Stir to combine.
• Fill the rest of the glass with club soda.
• Garnish with fresh cherries.
• Enjoy!

Sheba, we had a change of plans because rain was forecasted. We ended up on a drive up a Mtn. We thought we would be able to sit up their a while, but there were small raindrops and lots of bugs. We don’t deal with a lot of bugs in the day time here. I do have a bite on my hand from a local hike. It is red, swollen and itchy after a few days too.

Hope your plans for travel are coming along. I know what you mean about the rental cars, it’s more expensive than the Hotels and it’s peak season.

Oh, the Jeans arrived and even with sizing down they were too big. I received and returned them today. Oh well, i tried.

Oodie, sorry you couldn’t make it to your cousins funeral. Zoom was a great idea.
Also, wish they saved the cat for you as you wanted. Seems easy enough to do.

Why does your Husbands Dr. say its normal to rest all day? Maybe your husband is bored and needs go for some walks or get a bike? Does he have many friends in the area? Maybe he cold start a card game. Oh, probably too late since you are leaving the area soon.
