I am ever so happy that your mom enjoyed her day. Tell her not to worry about the age number, It is only a number. It doesn’t tell you what you can or cannot do. It doesn’t tell you how fast you can do things. It can’t tell you that you are too old to drive a vehicle. It definitely cannot tell you
that you cannot take that vacatkion you always dreamt about. So, if you feel you are in your 30s or your 40s go to it with gusto and continue to do so.

Hubby is doing quite well after Saturday night. Still has no idea why he decided to take a walk with a bad back and knee. But I have to admit that the poor guy was definitely dehydrated and taught me to keep something like lemonade in the frig or have lemons and limes on hand to put into water. When he arrived with the Sheriff’s office he looked like death. His face which is normally with a pinkish tone was looking dark. I really did not recognize him when he tried to get out of the vehicle. And of course on Sunday, he could not tell the difference in the keys from my car to his. He thought the one for my car would unlock the van. Today, yep, he knows the difference. So, now that it is summer and the temp and humidity are up there, please take the time to take a bottle or two of some form of liquid. Water is high on the list.

It is raining here as I type. Hear thunder in the distance. Temp is in the 90s with humidity. Yesterday, I was told, that our area received over 6′ of rain. Every bit helps when you are in a drought situation.

Take plenty of water wherever you go and make sure there is enough for Poppy. Please stay safe. I will see you in Trivia Friday unless something changes. If so, I will let you know. However, next week I can certainly use some help since I will not be using a computer while on the road.
