Sheba, your yard sounds just lovely. Happy 4th back to you and yours!

I was in a Party City Store today. Wow, they have lots of fun items. Bought a few basic Birthday decorations. Hubby and I had a nice hike.

Happy 4th of July, Yay, Poppy is ok with all the noise.

I awoke to a sunny day, but by the time I was dressed there was no sun. Dark clouds came out of nowhere. Hubby was still fast asleep and I decided to do a fast look and see on the side of the house to see if I missed any areas in weeding. And, so I did. Pickup for brush is every Wednesday.
There is one tiny area I missed and will return tomorrow to clear it from the hibiscus. Then on to the front to take care of those bushes. Hubby will take care of the bushes.

The spoonbill returned today and perched itself atop our neighbor”s cable box. He/she is a deep pink now and is absolutely gorgeous.

Yes, we had rain this afternoon that lasted about an hour. However what comes in the next few days will be OK. I did ask for rain and we got it. But, as you know, with the Florida sun and the humidity, we can go from rain to a drought situation in a matter of minutes. Whatever happens in the next couple of days is OK I am so glad we cancelled the trip for this week.
