Sheba -hello! Hope your daughter has an awesome birthday!!!
The dog pictures are too cute. I used to wrap my son up like the picture you posted for defg. My son would also have a towel wrapped in his hair. So fun!
Dinner was good and always nice to get out and together.
Might be time for us to look for a new bed. It looks like they have come a long way since I bought the last one. Are the box springs out now?

The storm brought some cool temps to Florida and I have to admit it was beautiful. Today we are in the 90s with 100% humidity. But. be careful what we wish for. Just heard the weatherman say there was another system out there. I immediately changed the station. We have reservations for Lancaster, Pa.. The last stop before the other house.

I know you are still hurting and when you least expect it—–well, you know. Hopefully, some of the funny nature of Jake will spark something within you and you will be laughing and smiling as if he was by your side and then, when you think about it, maybe he is. Have one of those drinks for me. Maybe either tomorrow or Friday I will be able to sit down and have one with you.

The dust has definitely settled in my house – floors, bannisters, window ledges and even door knobs. My husband decided he is doing the sanding and told the drywall guy he was finished today. He was tired of all the “bits and pieces” work. So, after he finishes sanding, we will paint and then I can put things back together. I hope this is it for the year, I haven’t had one good month yet.

We had a storm this afternoon, luckily no trees fell or electricity out this time. It should be cooler the next couple days and I can open the windows.

I am going to take a glass of what you’re pouring and watch, I hope, the last hockey game of the season. Sending your daughter belated birthday wishes.🎁🎈🎂 I hope she had a lovely day. You and Poppy have a calm, relaxing evening.😌💖
