We will be leaving Monday morning. Our first stop will be to gas up and to pick up bottled water for the two homes. Then, we are on our way. I wish I felt safe enough to post each day, but hope you understand why I cannot and will not. Though I have good virus software it seems it is never enough for a hotel room. So, I surmise, a book and the Kindle jigsaw puzzles will help to detour my thoughts away from the keyboard and keep me occupied. Thinking about all the $$$ I’ll be saving as well.

The Master Bedroom is really shaping up. I can now rehang the pictures. The walls are done. Need to find other places for the swivel chair that I usually fall asleep in while watching TV. However, that may not happen since the computer chair has taken that role. Nothing like falling asleep at the computer. Cannot wait to put the new linens and pillows on the bed along with the comforter. Need to wash the others that will bring t he ocean into our home. We will be redoing all the rooms when we return along with a plumber and electrician. Have a few problems but nothing earth shattering at the moment. Oh yes, hubby will find someone to help me with the cleaning.

Finally getting everything in place. So I know what you are going through. However, I need to finish everything by tomorrow so we can load the car and be off on Monday. It will really be nice to sleep with the windows opened. I cannot do this in Florida because the Geckos can crawl through any opening no matter how small. Tomorrow it’s Sam’s Club for the necessities for the two homes North. Plastic garbage bags by the roll. It’s too bad they closed their two warehouses in Rhode Island. We used to stop at both on the way to the Cape. C’est la Vie, I guess.

We have electrical and plumbing issues which will be taken care of when we return. Meanwhile, I will enjoy our mini vacation when we arrive in Lancaster for a few days of R&R. I will not be posting for awhile. Do not dare use the laptop in the hotel rooms and when we arrive at our frist destination will need to sign up as a new member with Xfinity just to get Wifi. It is so much easier in Florida. They put you on seasonal for up to 9 months. And the cost is $5/mo. . You also get to keep your own wifi and get this, they set it up for you.

Enjoy the cool weather. Say hi to Jake’s picture for me also. My neighbor on Cape had two labs. One black and the other long haired tan. But my favorite was Big Ben who found a way to unlock the gate and come over to our home for treats. I cannot fathom that home without the labs. It’s been a few months now and she is talking about adopting another one.

Take care of yourself and please stay safe. We are also thinking about cruising again. Definitely not this year, next year still questionable. We shall see.

Last of the laundry coming up. Working on MB. Have not been feeling that well for the last two days. Ok now. Think I got a 48 hr. bug. Or it could be from the heat and humidity. Not to worry, water bottle is wherever we go.

Between Jay King and Connie I am going bonkers. I love Amazonite and of course Jay’s pieces, But cannot purchase at this time. Must wait until we reach the first house to make a decision as to whether we stay or go on to the Cape to check that everything is OK. My theory has always been to put the things I love into favorites and then hope for the best. I did that for HD.

I will let everyone know tonight that we will be on the road. Our Wifi will not be up and running until we drive to an Xfinity location wherever that may be. They laid many of their people off during the pandemic in order to close offices. They want, from what I hear, a satellite store in a mall.

Taking a break from painting with my husband.🧹 Trying to get the laundry room done today and tomorrow so I can start moving items back in on Sunday. Then it will be top to bottom cleaning. Not sure if I will see mom and sis this weekend.🙄

Weather is beautiful today. Nice to have the windows open and it will be good for sleeping.😴 Nothing planned except working on the house. That is enough!😣
