Thank you all for your prayers and concern. I am alright. Tried to go to the cafeteria today but they were closed. Seems they open for a half hour for each segment. I will be glad to return to the motel. There is a restaurant next door. Food last night was delicious. Shared it with hubby. He is eating ok. Again, thanks for the kind words and messages.

Hubby is pulling all equipment off. Says it’s uncomfortable. His voice is strong. He may have continued care as an out patient for rehab. For a few days. Returning to Florida. Is another story.
Hospital staff does not want me driving alone to Florida. Going North out of the question right now because of mileage. Will update as time permits.

I hope you feel better soon. Take it easy you had a busy week. I had the nerve to work
in the yard and haul lawn bags with lawn clippings. Oh did I mention I picked up the
chainsaw with one arm and it was the one the needle went in. My arm is back to normal

Weather in our area must be big news, at least in our house :). Last night a storm moved in and my husband and son heard it and got up to watch it. Lightening and all. Me, I need my sleep. My husband did try to wake me up but I fell back asleep. lol.

Hubby’s knee still extremely painful, but swelling has come down. Bad news. He did suffer a stroke seems to be minor. The doctor saw it in the second go over from the CAT. It’s the lower left side which is hard to discover. He is able to communicate and make jokes, but there is memory loss. He is unable to retain short term, though I suspect it could return. He ate a great breakfast, but hated lunch and left most of it. My main complaint is why the nurses didn’t offer something else. I will grab something at the cafeteria around 7 pm when they are opened. Take care and stay safe. Arm will hurt for three or four days and then miraculously disappear overnight.

I had trouble falling asleep this morning & kept checking for updates from Oodiebom and/or you. Thank you for keeping us in the loop. I will continue to watch for any updates. I’m hoping & praying for a good outcome for Oodiebom’s husband and her. 💕💞
