I am dogged tired, but wanted to let you know that we are now home in Florida. We stayed overnight in Jacksonville and I had to bring our overnight cases and hubby into the motel during a heavy rain event. To say I got soaked is an understatement. And to think I had to go out for additional items. The rain stopped during the early morning hours, though we did hit pockets on the way home.

I am not a happy camper with this rehab. They gave me a list of meds but nothing for this morning or last night. So hubby is missing some important ones. I made a stop at the pharmacy and they weren’t too pleased either. But, we will start the meds tonight. I am just glad to be out of there.

Hubby met my Lyft buddy and we treated him to lunch. Driving the huge van for the first time was easy. I had to keep a watchful eye on the speedometer. He kept creeping up to 80 mph when I wasn’t looking.

Next Tuesday is his doctor appointment for evaluation of what is needed. The appointment is real early so maybe we can stop somewhere for a bite following.

As tired as I am, the bathroom beckons. I, at least, have the air running. We will never, and I say never will we leave our home at 7pm unless it is only a 2 hour drive. I’m not sure if I told you the story of that trip to Georgia. Right now I have alot to be thankful for.

Tomorrow we will be at Costco and if we are up to it, on to the Farmer’s Market.
