We shall shadow dance on that one. 😜😎I am so glad you posted. I have never lost
a sibling or parent I have lost very close relatives and the pain is nothing I want to
live through again. My father passing was the real test.

So far I am still standing. ✨

Howdy Sheba,
We have been working outside this past week trying to get our yard back in shape. We have had so much rain while we were gone that the yard looked like a rain forest. I had to tie a bell to Little D’s collar so I could find him😂.
I have seen lots of butterflies yesterday and today fluttering among our Lantana flower shrubs. I loved watching them as they seemed to dance from flower to flower. I thought of my Parents, your Dad and other friend’s parents who have passed. May they all RIP.
Sheba, I have taken some of your recent motivational/positive messages to heart. I appreciate you my Friend and thank you for your posts.

Today was a so so day. I looked at the work ahead and went back to bed. I will do what needs to get done sometime this evening. It’s just the floor and the floor of hubby’s closet for the electrician tomorrow. Have not had the energy to do the food shopping.

I had to purchase Depends for hubby because he could not make it to the bathroom in time because his legs are just too wobbly. Even using the wheelchair or the walker were difficult. But that was as far as yesterday. Today, complete opposite, though the legs are still pretty painful. I will be contacting our Health Insurance tomorrow pertaining to the wheelchair and other things we had to purchase. We were told that Medicare would not cover this, but we shall see. Also will infor them of the rehab process. I was told he would have at least three hours of therapy per day. He was lucky to get one. A few days prior to leaving he did have two hours for a couple of days. Also upon discharge not to give us the necessary meds to cover that evening and into the following day was uncalled for. In the North you receive the bottles of pills that were not used. usually it is for 10 days or more. They repeated that it was some kind of law in Georgia. I did locate the vitamins he was on and they will be going with us to the doctor’s office on Tuesday.

Take care. I’m happy that I saw some improvement today. His speech is better also.

Good afternoon to you in Oz. I hope you had a calm, reflective day yesterday😌. Please know I said prayers for your father.🙏

I hope mom and sis make it to Vegas. They are booked on – take one guess – Spirit! That was the airline they had with the cruise that got cancelled at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. They got a credit and had to use it by this September. They still have two weeks before they leave so hopefully Spirit will be somewhat normal by then. Who knows?🙄

Going for a lunch with our best friends tomorrow. It will be in the 90’s so will try to make it a long lunch, lol! Husband leaves this Thursday for his annual golf outing for four days. Keeping fingers crossed we have no big storms while he’s gone.😫 Always something when he leaves. And I won’t have my best boy to talk to and keep me company.😪 Guess I’ll have to go shopping or read on the deck if it cools down.

Today was a perfect day because we had a little rain and more to come later in the day.
