I contacted a dear friend and asked if he knew anyone who could take a metal bed totally apart and then put it together the correct way. The mattress and box spring fit on hubby’s side, but on mine it grabs the very edge of the frame’s lip and so it is not totally on. Yes, hubby fell out of bed this morning around 4 am and scared the daylights out of me. He doesn’t fall in a motel room, nor in Ct. or at the Cape. The other box spring and mattress fitted the same way, and I never paid attention to the way it was fitting on the frame. That other mattress and box spring became a slide. So now I wonder if the screws and nails are correct for this metal frame. There is a possibility that I may have to replace this mattress and box spring since one side appears to be higher than the other. I am happy to say at this point that I am glad I haven’t put the new linens and comforter on the bed. All pieces are in the dining area including the pillows and all pictures.

Last night’s sunset was absolutely gorgeous. The color pink was the star of the show. Each cloud was a masterpiece and dressed in a lighter pink. Such magnificence. And, if I could draw or paint, the beauty outside would have easily dressed the walls inside.

Well, tomorrow, hopefully, our dishwasher will be in working order. Never a dull moment here. The person I spoke with mentioned she never heard of someone attaching a disposal next to the dishwasher. Probably will have to be removed or moved. Of course, I did do some research this afternoon and in doing so, found that by placing it higher gives you more room in the cabinet. What they may have to do is remove one of the round things (whatever they are called) and attach a pipe that will run from this location to the dishwasher so that it can drain properly. It’s a small fix and not as costly as removing the insinkerator and installing it on the other side which is away from the dishwasher. Of course I lose cabinet space. AGAIN !!!! S
Since we have garbage pickup twice per week, may not be necessary to have the disposal at all. Of course, I’m just thinking out loud.

Yes, Sheba, I was able to get much needed rest today. We will try to do the shopping tomorrow. Just haven’t decided which Costco to go to. New ad for the Farmer’s Market, and since there is one not far from either warehouse, we can make that decision later. Hubby wants one of the hotdogs. I will get their Caesar salad with chicken. Mine does not include soda and water will do just fine.
